These are the kind of bristles I like and the whole thing can come apart for cleaning. There is the option to remove some rows of bristles, though now that I have it, I don't think I need that option.The brush weighs considerably more than the brush it replaced. Not a problem but it was a surprise. The rubber base for the bristles is most of the weight.The handle is on the thin side and if I ever wreck the brush, it will be by breaking the handle. The lightweight handle also makes the entire brush unbalanced - a minor annoyance. The prominent logo is another minor annoyance to me.At this price it's hard to complain. So in the end this is useful, and if you like this style of brush with nylon pins and rubber base, I guess this price is a bargain, considering I don't see this style in most stores (and the available Denman brush costs around 2x as much). Still I wish the handle were sturdier. And if I had my way it would be available with a mock tortoiseshell color.

I like how strong the bristles are on this brush. Good for exfoliating the scalp.

It is good for making hair curly

This is an okay hair brush... not great, but for the price, worth keeping. As others have mentioned, the bristles are very stiff making it more difficult to get the tangles out. Also as others have noted, the bristles are a bit sharp for my liking and they can hurt when brushing against your scalp. Having said that, after a few days of use (with a hair dryer) either my hard head has gotten used to the sharp bristles or the heat from the hair dryer has dulled the end of the bristles just a little bit and it doesn't seem bad as it was on the first day or two.On the plus side, others had noted that the rubber piece that holds the bristles easily comes out of the handle. I have NOT had this problem and the rubber actually has a fairly tight fit with the handle.

I'd had a brush with the little knobs on the ends from a famous brand. They fell off quickly and it hurt my scalp. This brush is sturdy. Doesn't hurt. Does the job. I wish the orange pad was a bit softer - had more give. But overall, I'm happy with the brush.

I had been looking at the other brand of brush that everybody knows about which is expensive and well-known. I see no difference between how that one would have performed and this one at roughly 1/3 of the price! I watched a few of the videos on how to use it to define my curly hair, and it works like a charm! I will agree with other reviews though, and say do not use this to detangle your hair. This one is for styling. If you need something to detangle your curly hair, I suggest the curly girl brand.

es el segundo que compro, y estoy muy contenta, es muy resistente y no rompe el pelo, desenrreda muy bien.

Me gusta porque cumple su función y las tiras las puedes retirar para cambiar el estilo de tu definición cada vez que quieras, es fácil de lavar, ya llevo dos meses usandolo y lo único que he notado es que se borraron un poco las letras del logo pero no es nada indispensable.
