Mixed bag
Whilst this is a nice compact little radio it does have some shortcommings. The SW radio is pretty good, as is MW, but 96.1FM suffers from inteference (which none of my other radios have on the same frequency). The solar panel is pretty useless and the hand crank stopped working within two days. I think the generator is still working but I think the charging circuit rectifier diodes have failed. It still works on USB charging and uses a standard Nokia cell battery. A useful little radio but don't rely on the hand crank or solar in an emergency!

wind up radio, solar, rechargeable
So the description states this is a:-DEGEN CY-1 wind up radio cranked solar FM AM SW. Emergency weather radio with flashlight SOS alarm bluetooth rechargeable cell phone for emergency and outdoor use.Basically this device is a Radio, Bluetooth speaker, MP3 music player, Clock, Power bank, Light all in one.First thing that was a let down tho was the fact it was in Chinese, which I wasn't expecting. But luckily before asking the seller there is a video that will show you which buttons to press to switch it over to english.I got this all in one because I thought it would be the same or similar to the one my dad already had but was damaged as he accidentally left it out in the bad weather for a week. Unintentionally…But unfortunately even with this radio being double the price of his original, it isn't as good as his old one.The sound for one isn't really loud enough for him as he is partially deaf and that most the stations don't work on the radio here in the UK. But what he did like was that I put all elvis and stylistics etc on a memory card and he gets to play them when he's in the garage.*** 3 way to recharge the battery:-* Dynamo generator* Solar power* DC 5V input*** Digital FM radio:-* Five tuning methods:-* Manual tuning* Auto tuning* Direct frequency entry* Auto search ~ ATS* Memory recall*** Emergency flashlight* SOS function*** Mp3 and Bluetooth speaker function*** TF memory card*** Digital clockThe price at the time of this review is £49.98.Sadly I'm 50/50 on recommending due to the price, sound and frequency.I will update this review if needed.*** Detail's:-* Brand:- XHDATA* Colour:- Red, Silver, Black, Clear* Connectivity technology:- Bluetooth, USB* Power source:- Battery Powered, solar, hand crank,* Radio bands supported:- FM* Hardware interface:- MicroSD, 3.5mm Audio* Size:- 126mm x 62mm x 43mm / 4.9" x 2.4" x 1.7"* Weight: 255g / 9oz*** What you get:-* 1 x Solar emergency radio* 1 x USB charging cable* 1 x BL-5C lithium battery* 1× English manual.

Good for wild camps
I have used this a couple of times for wild camps and it’s been great for that. I wouldn’t say the solar or wind up power supply is the going to get you loads of extra time to use the radio, but it does help a little. I like how compact it is and the fact you can use it to charge your phone up if needed. The sound is not great but it’s fine if your not hard of hearing or you are an audiophile. The one thing that is annoying is the buttons and how to use it as the instructions are not great. You can work it out but it’s not very intuitive. The radio gets signal without issue, even better than some of my larger expensive DAB radios!Overall I really like this little radio, it’s just a little to pricey though for me to fully recommend.

No solar charging, battery poor
Like that has a lot of frequencies to play with, digital display, reception not too bad but let down by the lack of charging both solar and cranck, battery poor
