BLUE CUT Fit Over Polarized Sunglasses Solar Shield Sunglasses To Wear Over Glasses

Nice weight, fits well over my prescription glasses. The polarization helps IMMENSELY with glare as I recover from eye surgery.

What I liked was that these glasses fit comfortably over my prescription glasses and do not look like those old face shield types. they are stylish and the lenses are quite clear and do enhance the scenery. However, they do not perform as I had hoped. My eyesight is slowly becoming worse for trying to follow the path and landing of my golf hits. Research said that this color of lenses would increase the visibility of the golfball. However, they did nothing for me. However, I still am satisfied with these as they are.

I always wear sunglasses over my progressive lens glasses. I lost a nice pair that I had for many years. Then I went through a series of fit-over sunglasses that I purchased at CVS. They all seemed fine & were “Foster Grant” sunglasses, but the sunglasses didn’t last. The lenses always popped out after just a few weeks of use. Finally, I gave up & ordered these through Amazon. These are an excellent pair of fit-over sunglasses. I like them because they fit over my glasses precisely & they stay on. They provide excellent protection from the sun’s rays & they didn’t “break the bank” cost wise. I especially like that they came with a nice hard sided case & a cleaning cloth. I like the case because sometimes I need to have my sunglasses in my purse & the hard sided case keeps them from getting broken or scratched. Finally, the case is blue & black so they’re easy for me to find in the depths of my purse!

Looks great, cuts glare on all sides, pretty light weight. If you have sensitive eyes, these are the glasses for you and they come in a great case with a clip.

Tried wearing my sunglasses on my trip and the lense popped out on first wear. Tried putting lenses back in, it wont go.

The case that this comes in is very nice, as is the included cloth and little polarizing demonstration card. The glasses however are significantly less clear than the Foster Grant Solar Shields that I compared them to. For example, viewing a distant deciduous tree in leaf-off conditions, I could discern individual branches with the Foster Grants but not with these. The technical term is MTF, or modulation transfer function, the ability to discern a repeating pattern - these glasses degrade MTF or viewable resolution whereas the competitive model doesn't do so in a meaningful way. Also, the thick sides limit peripheral vision which isn't a good thing when driving. I also think that they could be a bit darker (darken the scene more), but they darken the scene enough to be useful. All and all, I'll keep them for the case but as far as driving glasses are concerned, I'm not happy with them. They also feel flimsy, but if they performed better optically, I'd overlook that.

The polarization on these is phenomenal! The best I've ever viewed. Colors really pop. You'll enter a whole new world...LOL. The downside? They're really light-weight, but I use them for driving so I don't know how durable they'd be in a rough environment, got smacked, or bend-ability. They fit over my glasses just fine. Just really nice for what I'm using them for. I'll probably end up getting another pair.

These glasses are very comfortable and they are lightweight. It's almost like not wearing a second pair of glasses. One caution that would apply to all fitovers - measure your prescription glasses carefully to be sure the fitovers fit.
