I searched long and carefully for a vest; hoping for one she could wear during her training and when she completed it. Furthermore, I needed something that gave me a strap to hold onto when I need assistance, but was still comfortable for my partner to wear all day. This vest is all of that and then some. It is lightweight but sturdy, allowing me to stay in control without limiting Æsa's mobility. Best yet, I didn't have people swamping me to pet her while we out training. The velcro patch comes off, and I look forward to her graduating to one that says "service dog" when she is ready.I was a little nervous that it wouldn't fit because Æsa, who is a golden retriever and is pictured below, I was getting conflicting measurements that averaged only a few centimeters over the the measurement for the medium size we got; however, the fit isn't too snug. I was able to put my hand beneath the strap even with the other harness beneath it. Too many doggy treats may move her to the next size up, but I think this harness will hold up.I am very happy with this product (which arrived very quickly, I might add), even in the short time I have had it, and will be recommending it to the other people in our class.P.S I swear she is happy wearing it; she just isn't crazy about pictures. :)

I really like this vest for my working wildlife management dog. I've used quite a few over the years and this one is my favorite for the cost to durability/looks ratio. The stitching is very reflective, which is a big bonus. It fits her well and has passed the "working dog test" and withstood her running through brush, getting wet regularly, and being washed repeatedly. She's been wearing it for about 6 months and it is holding up really well, it doesnt even look faded. It seems to be just as comfortable as her other vests.If I had one complaint it was that the sizing chart seems off a bit. With her measurements, the size I bought should have fit her under her chest with some room for adjustment, but it fits perfectly at its largest setting so if she gains any weight or her coat bulks up for winter, it gets a bit snug. The front strap is a bit big on her too and cant be adjusted smaller without the strap having a flap of excess. I know they need to make sure that the vests fit a wide range of dog body shapes, but she's a border collie, not an unusually shaped dog.

My initial impressions of this item are very good. The material seems sturdy, stitching appears tight and straight, no loose seams or threads. The velcro is super grippy and thick. The one thing I might change is the fasteners between the chest and back pieces. They are probably fine for most dogs, I would simply prefer a thicker gauge fastener for my particular dog bc of his strength. The vest does slide around a bit if your dog walks like a spaghetti noodle, bobbing and weaving around like a big dum dum. Mine never does that though (🤞*whistle*🙄) . The measurements are accurate. My dog is at the top of the large measurements and there is zero room to expand (which is fine bc we are on a diet). If you are at the top of scale, you might want to size up. You can make it smaller, but no room for expansion. Overall, a great buy.

Great vest! My puppy is 85 lbs with a 33 inch chest so I bought an XL and the fit is perfect. He's only 9 months old so I like that he still has room to grow into the vest. I was looking at more expensive options but glad I chose this instead. The quality is definitely there and it's padded pretty well. I also like that a set of patches comes with it.Minus one star because the velcro in the front closes behind instead of in front, kind of inconvenient.

this harness is AMAZING!!! it’s super high quality! the patch labels aren’t sewn there are printed so if ur dog is more rough that might be something to keep in mind. but other than that it’s amazing! my dog isn’t super rough so that won’t be a problem. and the letters are nice and big so you can read them well!! overall WOULD RECOMMEND

Our 6 month old puppy knows when it is on that it's time to work. Fits large so measure correctly.

I have a 13 week puppy I am training. This vest is very helpful in letting folks know why my puppy is doing what it’s doing when we are out in public. People are more polite and respectful towards us by not just arbitrarily allowing their dogs or themselves to approach. They ask me. I so appreciate that. It makes me a more relaxed trainer.

When this vest arrived I was surprised how well made it was. Definitely better than I was expecting. I had my dog try it on right away to make sure it was the right size because a few reviews said the sizing was off. I can tell you right now, it's not. It's a little stiff at first since it is new but, not any different than if you bought a new shirt. I took my dog out in it for about 3-4 hours and it already started get that "broken in" feel to it.It is everything it claims in the description and more. People saw him wearing this and didn't try petting him or anything. In fact quite a few people moved out of his way. I even overheard adults telling their children that they couldn't pet him because he was working. A couple of employees at a couple of different stores were about to approach me but, they saw the vest and turned back around.And the reviews of people saying that their dogs acted different or instinctively knew what they had to do are correct. I don't know if it's the dog or "hug" of the vest. But it was almost as if my dog knew he was working while he was wearing it.I can't praise this enough. You will not be sorry with this purchase. I will make Industrial Puppy my first stop for any service dogs needs. Thanks again for such a wonderful product.
