Great Tool! Blades are pricey. Hunt for the Amazon $25 off a $100 deal
This is a must have tool for any weekend warrior or DIYer. Can handle a multitude of projects (and honey-do's) with ease. Blade are a bite pricey and on a sizable project you'll churn through plenty, but overall very satisfied with purchase. Note to amazon buyers: Amazon REGULARLY runs sales on Dewalt stuff usually $25 off a $100 purchase on qualified items and it is based on the total spend (i.e. you don't have to buy a single item >$100 to get the deal). I recommend loaded your cart with Dewalt wish list items and keep checking for updates. I have not bought a single Dewily item without taking advantage of this deal!

User friendly design, tough tool.
The previous owner of my house hired a handyman to fix a broken window I discovered during my home inspection. When he came to fix it, I asked him for advice on a few things, and he suggested a multi tool. I never even knew what they were. Since almost every power tool I own is DeWalt, it was a no brainer. I had to cut some 1x8's that are attached to the house. I had no idea how I would do it. This thing buzzed right through them in minutes. Then, I had to remove old caulk between my brick work and some wood trim. It was taking forever - then I thought about using my new multi tool. A three hour job turned into ten minutes. Now I found some other projects this tool will work for. Now that I know about this tool and own it, I think of the hundreds of times in the past where it would have made life so much easier! I love the way it's laid out, love the variable trigger instead of having to fumble with a separate knob, I love the quick change of the blades, and I love how you lock it on by rocking the trigger in the opposite direction and push the lock button in. This tool does so much! Who knew?

Dewalt Multi-tool-Move through tasks with authority
DEWALT DWE315K Multi Material Corded Oscillating Tool Kit Once you’ve own this Dewalt, you’ll never look back. My trusty and reliable Ryobi battery powered multi-tool schooled me in the art of patience with the blade mounting facilitated by a multi part head clamp, while balancing the tool, and while locating the Allen hex wrench. It really forces you to pre-plan your moves. It worked great otherwise but the battery power left it breathless too often.Enter Dewalt with a fast blade change, endless horsepower and perfect balance. Add the fence guide option to keep the tool on target or pre-set the depth of the cut. Marvel at every imaginable blade option available. No more man-boy tooling around. This is real. Really good.So far I've used it to pierce siding for expanded electrical outlet service, cut through 3/4" M and L grade copper pipe, randomly slice voids into old lumber, clear broken tile grout, and precision trim door molding. Yep, you too can be the "fastest multi-tool slinger in the west".

Great tool for a great price
At first I was going to buy the Makita cordless 18v because I have batteries but after handling it I found the Makita didn't fit my hands very well, it felt too bulky. The Dewalt 20V multi tool is well designed also but I do not have those batteries and I figured this was a tool I would not use very much so I settled for the corded tool.I have to say I am extremely pleased with my decision. I have used it for sanding and cutting using the supplied accessories and I love this tool. The grip size is great, the paddle variable speed switch is very easy to use and control. It is well balanced. The quick change holds the accessories very firmly, in fact it takes some bit of hand strength to squeeze the lever. I did not find this to be a negative, but a person with arthritis or weaker hands might. I like that it comes with a bag and some accessories to get started. I am sure the cutters that came with it are not of the highest quality which is to be expected considering a single good blade can cost 10-20 dollars and this whole kit was only 99.00.

Great for removing grout in tiles
I love my Dewalt tools, and this one was bought so I could remove broken tile from the kitchen floor. I'm not a big fan of batteries so I have stuck with corded tools for everything that I need. The kit is well put together with a nice carry bag, and plenty of accessories for various jobs. I like the light on the front so you can see better where you are pointing the tool.

Fantastic !
This is my first oscillating tool, a friend suggested i get one for a home project i am working on. I am putting up knotty pine walls and needed something to cut holes for the switches, and receptacles easily. As soon as it arrived i found some scrap wood to try it out on, then more, then some more, i was having fun. This things zips through wood like a hot knife through butter. The blade change is so easy, and well designed, the variable speed paddle beats the dial on the other brand i was looking at. The accessory kit, and the bag it comes with are both great, although i prefer the Dewalt hard cases that come with other tools, like my angle grinder, because they can be stacked and protect my tools better than a soft sided bag.

Amazing tool with all you need included
Amazing product. Loved it. I have tons of tools and love them like kids:) I bought this for some DIY in kitchen to open up refrigerator opening for the new one. Did the job perfectly. This came in a nice carry on bag. A great accessory kit was included in the box. Accessories are in a nice box that I loved it. You get bunch of blades and grinding sands and everything required for a DIY project. My only complain is that blades included seems like not the best quality and got damaged soon and I have to buy new blades. But I take it as I didn't know how to use it right maybe. Overall very satisfied.

Like this but it seems hard to find metal-cutting attachments ...
Like this but it seems hard to find metal-cutting attachments that are durable and inexpensive.I had the same issue as others (at first) with the sanding pad melting. Just don't turn it on full-speed! *kinda frustrating bc you have to hold the trigger down constantly to do this. Low speed with the sander works perfectly, for projects that don't worry about leaving scratch lines.

Probably the most versatile, useful tool you'll buy
Been wanting to add an oscillating tool to my collection for a while now, and this went on sale at $99 so I grabbed one up quick - bargain at that price for this tool! Since it's just for occasional home/DIY woodworking project use, I didn't really need higher-end like this, so I was going to just buy a Mastercraft one at CT - but at the sale price I'd take this every time! :)The tool is reassuringly weighty like all DeWalt tools, and feels solid and well-built. The trigger is nicely positioned for your rear hand and is long enough to be operated with 2-3 fingers, so you can be nice and precise with the power.Plenty enough power, as well - this will certainly do the relatively small jobs I'll need it for, with ease. I tested it out plunge cutting a hole in some 1/4" mdf and it went through it very easily and with precision. The sanding head and pack of various grit pads are an added bonus, I'll only use that feature for light 'precision' work and tight corners I can't get into with my normal sander though.I've also used it to cut out some leg recesses in some shelves, just 1x6 pine boards - using this i was able to get nicer, neater, sharper cutouts but its a bit slower than doing it with the jigsaw.Other nice pro's are the LED light which is not especially bright but well positioned, and the quick change blade/head system.Overall a nice kit, the handbag is a bit meh, I'd much rather have a solid carry case but Dewalt seems to be cutting costs there on a lot of their tools. The plastic storage case for the blades and sanding attachment is good and solid though. I'll get plenty of use out of it for sawing and cutting, will add a couple more wood blades in due course - probably not so much for sanding but as above that's just a bonus feature for me.Would be nice if it came in a hard case and had another wood cutting blade or two, but for the price I paid I can't complain.Edit: added some unboxing photos :)

Well worth the effort.
Very impressed with this kit. Played around with it for a few hours when it arrived and could not be happier. I have a half dozen projects lined up for it already ..... should have had one of these years ago but then again .... I like to hold off on things until manufacturers get all the bugs worked out of a new toy. I specifically ordered a corded model to avoid having to deal with obsolete batteries a few years down the road. Power is more than adequate for what it does. I had it running for half an hour stripping tight corners on hardwood flooring and absolutely no problems with overheating ... just a light touch and let the sander do it's job. Variable speed makes it versatile for light touch up jobs and the little light helps quite a bit in dark closets ... just wish it would swivel along with the blade angle. The accessories are a bit pricey but the basic blades that come with the saw are more than adequate for getting a feel for the tool. Very impressed with how easy it is to get absolutely flawless cuts in door jambs and drywall cut-outs ... this thing slides through like butter with very little debris/dust scatter. I was also impressed how little vibration this tool generates. I'm curious now how well this thing will work cleaning out old tile grout. Will let you know once I save up a few more pesos.

Great tool, a real must-have
The tool is so great. Love that it comes with a bag that fits everything. The quick release function is great, plus you can adjust the angle of the cut. The blades that comes with it seems to be pretty good, I made several long cuts thru hardwood floor planks and it still works quite well. I was hesitant between this one and a cheaper chinese version, in the end im glad I bought this one, It's a tool that you end up using so often you need one that will last

A good option for the money
Long time owner of a Fein Multimaster. Have used various other brands as well, from cheap, up to the Fein Supercut (same as Festool Vecturo). This Dewalt unit is a solid performer, but not my favourite. The main knock I've got against it is the lack of a dial to control the variable speed. The trigger controls this, but is a less user-friendly option, in my opinion.I stress the importance of a good variable speed control on an oscillating tool because without using it, you will (literally) burn through blades FAST. Technique also helps with this -- keep the blade moving.Other than that, I like the blade attachment mechanism. It feels nice ergonomically. I'm keeping it with my framing tools as a backup for the rare occasions where I'm doing rough work but can't get at something with a reciprocating saw. And I'll keep using my Multimaster for everything else indoors -- cutting already installed baseboard, drywall, trimming shims when hanging doors, etc.

Great price for a tool of this quality
I got this when it went on sale thinking it would be nice to have when I needed it. I've used it twice already!Works well. I like the variable speed and quick change blades. I just wish it had a hard case instead of the bags everyone is using now a days.Be forewarned the attachments aren't cheap if you wish to buy more than what is included.
