Love this as a fun summer activity. We received it last week and my daughter has already done 8-10 of these. Great price for a fun activity that my 8 year old can do by herself.

Worked great. with no prior experience, these were some of the first prints I made -- just experimenting with different objects. Super easy, creative process.

This paper was very disappointing, I did it with my grandchildren but the images did not come out well.

So far so good. They aren't perfect...there is spotting on some of the pages, and on one a label mark was already burned on for some reason, but for my STEAM class, these are acceptable. Dark prints in direct sunlight, and slightly lighter blue in overcast conditions. Not artist quality, but for the hobbyist or student they are great!

It worked as expected. Had fun making sun prints with the kids.

This was my first time since I was a child to work with this type of printing. The colored side of the paper is where the magic happens. I watched a number of videos on Instagram to get some tips and although nothing more is needed than what comes with this kit, I would recommend placing the paper on a board or thin book and using some type of clip like binder clips to keep the plastic sheet as tight against the paper as possible. Unfortunately the clip imprint will show up on the final print, but I just cut the picture down a bit or most frames will hide the paper edges anyway. Also using plant material that has already been pressed and dried previously will give even better results than fresh as more precise edges will be revealed. I learned from watching videos that cold water is best when washing the print and a few squirts of hydrogen peroxide will fix the color much quicker and provide a deep dark blue color. Hydrogen peroxide is very inexpensive, about $1, and can be found at any drugstore or grocery store. This kit was a great value and this type of printing can be enjoyed by all ages.

The plastic that these come in is not thick enough to stop sunlight, so the paper is already partially exposed when you get it. This photo shows that the sheet inside the package -already- has the imprint of the label, meaning lots of light penetrated the plastic envelope. I kept the paper in the envelope and the whole envelope inside the Amazon package, with -that- package inside a desk drawer. All of the sheets had the faint yellow-green color shown here. The results from the first few pages of the pack are “meh” (see photo 2), but I won’t be able to use the rest.

These are wonderful when you're working with young children. Less mess and just as much creativity.
