I got this for my husband who has transvers myelitis. He is very heat sensitive. This ice pack cools him down quickly & allows him to stay outside longer when it is hot.The only thing I did was sew some double-sided velcro on it to hold the ice pack on. He didn't like the feel of the strap(that's included) around his neck.The velcro is the double-sided wire wrap used for tying up computer cables.I would have given 5 stars, but due to having to modify, I gave 4.

Nice cold ice pack, a bit on the heavy side and the plastic side sweats and drips.

I bought two of these one for my mother in law and one for me. I have slept with multiple ice packs for years lol. One on both of my knees and sometimes a third on my hip I got my mother in law one because she was having neck and arm pain and this was big enough to hit both spots. She said she is happy with it. I was impressed by the size as soon as I seen hers, so I choose to go back and grab one for myself. But because I’ve been icing for years I can be a lil more particular on my ice packs. The cons for me where the fact that it doesn’t get as cold as my other ones get. Also it doesn’t stay as cold for as long as my other packs. But that could be due to the fact that one size is a softer fabric material. Now for my mother in law that’s a good thing bc she doesn’t want a freezing cold ice pack like I prefer. It’s also pretty bulky and heavy so not the best for knees but does work great on your hip. The product is still what I would consider high quality and has lasted for few months already with no wear or tear. It really comes down to what you are using it for and what you like. And if it’s for someone who’s elderly I think it’s great because it’s easy to use and not going to be to cold on the skin.

Love this ICE/HEAT PACK! It feels and works just like one you would find at Physical Therapy. High high recommend!

I used it 2 times so far and both times it stays cold for a longggg time. What I do is I leave it in the freezer until it is frozen. I take it out and I put the soft side on my skin. The pvc-ish side, you need to put a cloth/blanket over it or it will condensate and soak up your area.

Very smartly and simply designed. The straps are great. Exactly what an ice pack should be.

Perfect for larger areas. Works for back, shoulders, where ever. it does fold in 3 places for smaller areas to cover. Gets very cold and stays cold.
