Review: Great strings, another crushed package from desertcart. - I've been using Fender Super 250's on my Strats for years. They're great strings for single coils, and HB's as well. Fender recently changed their packaging from a white sleeve to this new green box. Looks cool. However, desertcart has a long-time habit of sending me items that come in retail boxes like these strings, in a bubble bag or a thin paper bag. And every time the product's retail box is crushed to smitheroons. And every time, I send them back, even if the product isn't damaged, JUST because I'm tired of tolerating this bs. Please see my pics.

**Q: I need to just change out my little e-string. I have a full size, will these work? I've never bought strings online before...**
A: If you just want to change 1 string then this might be a bit too much product than you need. Usually when one string breaks then it is best to change all 6. If it is an electric guitar then these should work fine for you. If you just need one string then search for something like a ".010 single electric guitar string" and you may find exactly what you want. Best wishes.

**Q: These sound a little twangy when i put the lo E on. Is that expected?**
A: Like pedals, guitars, and amps, this question is subjective and depends on the gear you're using. Are you using these on a Fender guitar (or any single coil guitar)? If so, the guitar itself is going to have a twang sound to it. These strings are made of steel with nickel coverings. That means higher output from your pickups (because they're magnets and they like steel better than nickel) so that could account for the twang you're hearing.But like I said, what sounds like more twang to you could sound different depending on someone else's setup. It's always hard to say for sure. Your mileage may vary.

**Q: Why are these listed as "fender ukulele strings-soprano" when the pictures of the packages and the description says they're "electric guitar strings"?**
A: I've purchased 3 sets of these strings. They are not ukulele strings. Most ukulele strings I've seen, at least recently, were nylon.

**Q: Is the g string plain or wound?**
A: Plain.... it would specify on the box if it was wound

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent choice for a Stratocaster

I was using the 350L bullets on my Strats but they just were not lasting long. They showed wear almost immediately, requiring a string change every week. That gets old in a hurry.... I didn't notice that these weren't bullets when I bought them, I wish I had bought the bullets as they just seem like a better fit for a Strat. But, what I did like about these as that they are color coded for installation. The ends are just the right size too. These are just a bit heavier than the 350's but have the same sound. So far, no notice of wear yet either so I think I finally found my perfect Fender Electric string. They sound fantastic, bend well and were easy to install. I have 3 Strats and 1 Telecaster, these will be my strings of choice for all of these. I like buying the multi-packs. They are inexpensive and each set is packaged individually. I change strings often too, so always want plenty on hand. Strings can make or break a guitar. Put bad strings on a good guitar and it sounds bad. Put good string on a cheap guitar, and it sounds better. Put these on a high end guitar and you have the perfect formula. Everyone has their own personal reference when it comes to strings, this is my choice for Fender Electrics. 5 stars. The search is over
