I bought these for my kittens who were about to be spayed. They were sent home with plastic cones, and as soon as they got home I put them in these instead. They are soft and comfortable. The kittens can go through their cat door with it, sleep comfortably, and still see around them while being prevented from licking their stomach. Now... I will say my black and white girl did her best impression of a feral cat and got out of it almost immediately. She was stressed from the day and her reaction to everything was so extreme that we ended up leaving her alone and luckily she left her stomach alone. We tried again the next day and she left it on for a half hour but then got it off. HOWEVER, I need to point out 2 things: I think she either would have gotten out of the cone from her extreme reaction or she would have cut her neck (that cone was sharp!), and also, this little girl managed to figure out how to get out of a pet play pen at 5 weeks of age (!) by studying me opening the zipper and the manipulating the zipper from the inside enough to get a paw through and then move it up so her body got through. She's unusual. I could have tightened it even further and it may have stayed on better, but I decided not to because she wasn't messing with her stitches. My little white girl has kept it on perfectly. It's been 9 days now. I'll leave on the full 2 weeks. I don't think she notices it. It's like a travel pillow. She's perfectly happy and comfy. I put it in the washer once and it cleaned perfectly. I'm really pleased with the product.

I love this! My 5 month old, 6 lb kitten was neutered and, like all cats, hated the cone. It was difficult to eat, sleep and move around. But this soft collar is awesome, he can eat, play, sleep, whatever he wants to do. And he hasn't even tried to get it off. This small size was perfect for him but I'm not sure it would be good for a much bigger cat or kitten. A smaller one, yes, because you can make the neck opening smaller (be careful not to get it too tight) and I don't think there's a kitten small enough that it wouldn't fit. But for a larger cat or kitten you should go for the next size up. It's soft, lightweight and doesn't get into his food when he eats so it stays pretty clean, while he still can't get to his stitches.

This worked well for our old guy, he had to be in a cone for about two months to allow healing and fur regrowth, and the plastic cone was really messing with his ability to get around and to access the food and water bowls. We ended up purchasing this, and it worked great. He can get it off if he really tries, so we did have to put it back on once or twice, but mostly he left it alone since it didn't interfere with his vision and eating.

He loves his soft e-collar and uses it as a pillow. He is 4 months and 4lbs and fits perfectly.

Our cat had a small wound near his mouth that was slow to heal due to him scratching it. We put a traditional cone on him, but for this injury, the traditional cone was too cumbersome, it was difficult for him to play, eat, jump to his hammock, and run up the stairs. This padded cone is light weight and soft and he didn’t mind having it on. He was able to move more freely with this cone. This item did its job well and his wound healed.

I think this is the best thing they ever invented my cat was so comfortable for two weeks the plastic is terrible is but this product is the best.

I highly recommend ths product. I purchased it for my cat who needed to be in it for an extended time due to a sufficant injury. It allowed Her to move around and not feel paniced with no being able to get to Her injury. She has not been ale to remove it because of the adjustable tightness around the colar.

My cat had this on for several weeks and she was never bothered by it. The tricky part was putting it on and off, but that wasn’t too bad. She was able to lay down and sleep like it was a little pillow. It worked fantastic for her.
