We have the AC running all day long but one room doesn't get any cold air and facing the sun so I got this for the room. I was unable to stay in it more than a minute and I start sweating. Now we use the air cooler 20 hours a day and I can even nap in that room. The only problem is the noise. Whe the tank is half full it starts making sooo much noise. I don't know why but it does. It's very good to be added to a room plus the AC or to be used on just enough warm days. There is only one side that has the water going through it not like the ones I grew up with that has three sides. It can do better definitely but in the end of the day it saved the day. It doesn't come with a remote control.

Okay so I purchased this air cooler I don’t like it it would suggest that you use the money to buy a portable ac instead of an air cooler it’s litterally just like a regular fan with hot air coming out of it the ice melts within minutes so it’s really not worth it I’m trying to return this ASAP.

I bought this product to try and save on the electric cost I'm running my portable AC. You place this product approximately 6 feet away from you and turn it on high it will keep you reasonably comfortable even though the room has reached 84 degrees. However it will not cool down the room and it will only cool what's directly in front of it I was a little surprised that not only does it have an inlet with a pad that is soaked in water but it also has two open vents on the back so you're getting 50% ambient air and 50% through the wet pad air. All in all the way I used it as described it will keep me comfortable on a hot day and help save some money on my power bill

The cooler works great but definitely isn’t made for the heat of the Santa Cruz Mountains in the summer. It uses ice to cool the water which works great for like 20 minutes until all the ice melts. I got some extra ice packs and I’m switching them out like every half an hour just to keep my room cool, that being said it has been somewhere between 95°f and 110°f since I got it and I’m sure it would work better if it wasn’t so absurdly hot here. Works great for an average hot day but not if you’re looking for an air conditioning unit for a room in the middle of a heat advisory warning.

I purchased this for a small room that based on product description should cool the room down. Does not cool anything down unless your sitting in from on the product. Also the levels on the front keep closing, had to put something to keep them open. Would not buy again, should have just purchased a window unit for a few more dollars, and I work hard for my money which made it even more disappointing.

Hi! I bought this air cooler for my bedroom and did not expect too much, it was the least expensive one I could find on Amazon. This air cooler works great! Very quiet, relatively cool,easy to use, light weight and portable. Good value for the money. No complaints, I really like this air cooler and plan to buy another one in the future...Thanks!

It is very poor in quality: loud noise, no cool, etc. I had to return it. Do not recommend to buy it. It is better to buy a fan.

Good for the price. Can be used as humidifier. It doesn't work as AC at all, if it is humid it won't help.
