It is exactly as described. I wish it had a little more capacity as it does not hold enough for more than 1 or 2 people. The working capacity is about 3 cups. The quality is good.

PROS* Easily makes tea for 4 people* Won't break easily like a ceramic pot* You can go from stovetop to tableCONS* It's heavy so if you want a lighter tea pot don't buy this one* It comes with a tea strainer but the basket is just not TALL enough so for it to be useful unless you make a full pot. So it's kind of pointless if you want to make tea for two people. I had to buy another pot just for that.* The bottom is beginning to rust a little
