Christian Siriano Duvet Set, Full/Queen, Garden Bloom

I love duvet covers because here in Phoenix I don;t have need for much heavier bedding and duvet covers can make a great lightweight bedspread. when left un-stuffed,. Christian's mini sets (I have 2) are well made from lovely fabrics that are perfectly represented by the pictures shown, as to the colors and patterns. My "but" is they are 100% polyester and I can't stand to sweat in my sleep. It is a nice polyester, lightweight and silky to the touch but Polyester is like laying a sheet of saran wrap over you while asleep. and it traps the heat in. Cotton really does breathe I don't care what the rayon/bamboo crowds say, cotton (like rayon, bamboo, viscose) is a natural fiber and lets air circulate much better than man made polyester.

Not worth the high price, in my opinion. It smelled very strongly but washed well. As others have noted, there isn't much white on the duvet so the photo isn't very accurate. Honestly, I bought a very cheap duvet cover at the same time as this one and overall, the cheap one seems better!Worst thing is that it is wildly wrinkly and it doesn't have corner strings. It's undeniably soft though.It's like the customer's practical needs weren't factored in though. ShameDefinitely not recommended.

I would have given this duvet cover 5 stars if it had corner ties. So disappointing. But the fabric is as expected and the pattern/color is beautiful. I am keeping it because it is perfect for the room, and it would be a nuisance to return it, however I'm very annoyed that it is missing the only thing that keeps the insert from free-floating inside the cover. Really, Christian Siriano?

I got the 'mini' set which was just the duvet cover and 2 shams BUT IT IS PERFECT. Soft and easy to put on the cover (buttons on the bottom). It looks beautiful. It is more purple than blue as shown in the photo and there is more white towards the top of the duvet cover as part of the over-all design. I have not washed it yet so cannot verify how it holds up.

So I'm giving this a 4 start because overall great quality and it's still very pretty, however the description said the background would be on a periwinkle, however not even close more like a grayish light green. So I was disappointed as I really wanted a periwinkle color and that's why I ordered this. I'm giving it a pass though because the pictures that they posted dont look periwinkle and I was hoping that based on the description that I would be getting what I wanted. So if you like the colors on the pics they posted, I would still recommend this.
