I’m amazed at how nice this file is and how well it works. I’ve never had a glass nail file before. This thing is a dream to use. It quickly and easily shapes nails while leaving the edge smooth! It’s awesome!! I wish I’d had this thirty years ago. I love it.

This product was a perfect match for me. I am a massage therapist and I am constantly having to cut and file my nails. This type of file was recommended in a Consumer Reports health newsletter as a way to help with nail problems. I just started using it; time will tell, but it feels like it does a better job than the standard “sandpaper” emory boards.

I have trouble with my nails splitting and breaking and saw a rec for a glass file so decided to try it. Ok, I"ve only just got it, so I can't tell if it will help my nails, but this thing is great for the price. I know, you could get a cheap cardboard emery board for less, but this is pretty, comes in it's own case, and still is lightweight, but quite a bit more durable than a cheap one and it does a great job of smoothing at snags and rough spots on my nails, with a bit less work than my cheap emery boards of the past. I like it so much I'm thinking I might get a couple of others, one for travel, one for home, and maybe a couple as small gifts. Cool!

I always used normal emory boards, but was curious about glass files since a reusable one sounded nice. I found this brand through tiktok, so figured I’d finally try one and it’s actually really nice! Files my nails the same as any other but was easy to clean with just some hand soap and warm water. Feels sturdy too, so should hopefully last a long time. I was a little worried about the glass in shipping, and there was a rattle in the box, but taking it out the file was just fine. No breaks or cracks, that’s just how it sounds in the holder I guess.

I LOVE this nail file! Some glass files are too thick (imho) making it hard to maneuver between nail and skin and those same files are usually the ones that have barely any grit. This one is PERFECT...thin yet durable, lots of grit yet not abrasively so...it's like the grit isn't harder it's just more abundant, like millions of little smooth grits all packed together so one swipe takes a lot of nail but leaving the free edge smooth as a baby's bottom, not jagged and shredded up. I don't think I'm doing this description any justice. It's just an amazing file for a very affordable price. If I need to buy another glass file for whatever reason...it will be this one and it's even got an authenticiy mark on the hand 'Czech'. Great file!

Bought as I'm suffering from splitting nails which also delaminate at the tips. Using one of these, filing in a single direction across the nail tip, is supposed to help with causing the nails layers to re-bond. It's certainly very gentle and hard to believe that it can be that gentle and yet remove nail at a respectable rate. Using this a couple of times a week, for a quick rub on every nail is all I need, supposedly, and we shall see. The other advice I received was spot-on so I'm hoping this is too. The price is great for a file that will never wear out, and will last forever unless broken. They're toughened glass and unless bent sharply or dropped on a hard surface, shouldn't break at all easily.

The file is good and has not worn down after using it for months. I bought this to replace my more expensive glass file which broke and it has served me well in replacement. The case is great for storage and protects it.
