Love, love, love!
I gave this to my 6 year old son. He loves it so much. I read the reviews and knew it would be time consuming to assemble. They were telling the truth! It took me 2.5 hours to put together. It Playmobil’s defense, I was talking to my mother while doing it and wrangling my 1,4 and 6 year old all at the same time. If I could have put it together alone then I think it would have been fun. Also, other reviews mentioned about pieces that go in the same place are in different bags. I hated this. You would need one piece from this bag and another piece from another bag. It made me think I had lost pieces. It would be great for Playmobil to put the pieces in the same bag for each section. Over all it is a fairly sturdy play set, but it does not stand up very well to my 1 yo. She sits in the middle of it causing the front gates to separate from the towers. Keep it from the really young ones and it is a sturdy piece. All the negatives aside, it has so many moving parts that it lets the kids really interact and imagine scenes. They love it and I love it!

Fun, great details, sturdy, good quality
Great, sturdy toys. Kind of hilarious that the “bad guy” is a skateboarder. Took the full 90 minutes to assemble... not difficult but lots and lots of little pieces, quite a few stickers, too. Comes with a little tool that really helps put some of the connectors in place. Seems like some parts could have been pre-assembled before packaging but n an issue overall. Some very tiny parts we put in a ziplock baggy and set aside so they aren’t immediately lost. Some neat details like toilet in jail cell, cops guns go in holsters, jail cell wall can be “broken” for jail escape, locking gates, etc. 4.5 year old son loves it!

Very fun, and detailed
The media could not be loaded. This play set is awesome, but head the warning on the box because it really does take about 90 minutes to assemble! It’s not difficult, just very detailed (which is part of the fun). It comes with some tiny pieces, since this is for our 3 year old we are holding off on giving him all the pieces. He loves this set and his older sister loves playing with him too.

fantastic toy. long set up.
amazing toy! this is worth every penny. it was a christmas gift for our 7 year old and he LOVES it. larger than i expected, but not obnoxious. WARNING: it takes a long time to assemble (the box does state this) however it was well worth it for the amount of play it already has endured.

Perfect gift
I gave this to my son and he loves it. It took little over an hour to build. Once built, it stayed together. Great product at a great price.

It is not LEGO
The reason why I tried Playmobile was due to hating the mini LEGO's anything. My twin 5 year old boys love all Police and Firefighters. So we tried this brand because as soon as you loose a piece of these tiny LEGO projects then the whole thing is garbage. When you put things together that is LEGO, it stays together. This doesn't, which is a plus and a negative. The size of the people and the actual station was great!, putting it together was OK, and the idea was really cool!. The pieces that hold the sliding gate up always falls down so I think I will Glue Gun it so its stays together. Also the Bathroom for the inmates is always coming off the wall as also the area with the computers on the tower, where they have the phones, also comes loose. The people's feet get stuck and don't fit under the desk or tables. If you have the Police car you have to take the roof off to get the people in and out which makes no sense. All of it is great but some of it is just annoying. I took photos before it never looked like that again. Plus I wanted to show the Grandmother that it is perfect. They do love it, I just do not. We lost all the guns and tiny loose little pieces. Great idea just poor design.

Time Consuming Assembly
Let me first start off by saying that my 4 year old received this as a Christmas gift and he absolutely LOVES IT!! It was not the easiest to assemble and took my husband and I at least an hour and a half. The directions for assembly were detailed, however, the parts needed were packaged in several small baggies and not packaged according to the step by step instructions. You might be looking in several different baggies for parts needed in one step. I think the product is quite pricey for something that comes dissembled in hundreds of little parts. But my son is enjoying it and it’s of good quality now that it’s all put together!

Fun set
5 year old son chose to use his own birthday money for this because I thought it was too expensive. He has other Playmobil sets & wanted this for months. Only had it a week but he’s very happy. Has asked for more bad guys and handcuffs even though he had some from other sets. It is a project for parent to put together. I think it took me a couple hours but I got some of the connectors stuck in the wrong holes for the blue gates and that slowed me down trying to get them back out. Connector tool wouldn’t pull them out but knife finally did) My brain needs words on instructions to go with the pictures Lol. If I had known, I would have only put connectors on building first then snap in gate posts and avoided issue. Anyway, if kids already are familiar with Playmobil and you are willing to pay, this is a fun set with lots of areas to put figures and son loves the gates and cells that he can lock up.
