Absolutely love this fan! I mainly bought it because it was supposed to be very quiet at night, and it definitely lives up to that claim when you set it to the nightime setting. It’s really easy to set up using either the app or the remote control. It has plenty of speed settings. It’s powerful and keeps you cool — I don’t think I’ll ever need to use the full speed.

Excellent product, very quiet, cheap fans are noisy, and cost more in the long run, recommend the Duux whisper flex 2 smart fan.

Firstly it’s overpriced. The build quality is good and truly is very quiet. The blade design on the fan pushes out a lot of air. There are a number of settings that change the oscillation and a myriad of fan speed settings. Although the increments should just go up in amounts of 5. The numbers inbetween make no difference at all and is a gimmick. Now having paid a substantial amount for what is essentially just a fan. I sort of assumed the battery may come with it which makes it more portable. It doesn’t and that’s extra! That pushes this fan to The £200 mark!! Which is outrageous. I purchased this one as it is slightly taller than the previous model and also has the wifi and smart features. With hindsight I should have saved a fair bit on money and just bought the cheaper model. The app is appaling. It simply doesn’t work. You can turn the fan on and off with your phone using the app. All the other features require you to register and create an account. Simple enough. Well not really. You can’t create an account because the software is dire! It simply doesn’t work which makes this fan simply overpriced. It’s well built. Very quiet and pushes out a really good amount of air. Save your money though and buy the cheaper model. The software is beyond terrible. That’s why it just has 3 stars.

This fan looks and feels better than average for a fan like this. It comes well packaged and was easy to build. The fan head section is quite heavy, so I can only assume that they have used a good industrial strength motor. The motor is completely silent as the only noise I can hear is the fan pushing air. No slight whining or deep thrumming as our other Conair fan does. Although our Conair also uses a water evaporation function and cost three times the price as this Duux. It is suitably heavy due to weights in the base and is not too high. So it it very stable as well. Has the facility for being battery(not included) operated, but I personally do not have any need for this. Not including the battery is just as strange as the function itself. Another slightly misguided feature IMO is the APP control especially when they also include a remote control. Seems an unnecessary complication to a simple fan so I did not test the APP. Again, why 30 speeds?! Does anyone really notice the difference at these increments? I doubt it! All these little niggles aside, this fan has a very good performance and obviously this is what counts in the end. It oscillates from side to side as most do, but also up and down and it moves in these two planes at once. Since the fan is actually quite powerful, this would be a great feature in larger rooms. A little on the expensive side you might think, but compared to fans from Conair etc. and since this fan performs just as well, then not too bad. Maybe cutting down on some of the unnecessary 'feature creep' might have made it cheaper. Recommended!

I really like this fan. It moves a large volume of air and is very quiet. The only issue I've had with it is it fell off the network almost immediately after joining and, so far, I haven't found a way to reset it.

Really disappointed with this product . I have ano older version which is much better. This fan has a useless remote control. The range is so bad you may as well manually get up and change the settings. This was my second unit the first I returned due to the poor performance of the remote control yet it seems this is an inherent problem with this fan. Also the app does not have a function to oscillate the fan ! Unless some can show me where the command is. I would not recommend this fan .

I bought the Duux Whisper specifically for use at night and it's genuinely unlike any fan I've owned. The airflow is so diffused and soft that "breeze" is really the only word for it — it really is like a gentle breeze rather than anything mechanical - almost a sensory experience rather than just cooling. For anyone who finds fans too noisy, too harsh, or too directional, this is a different category of product entirely. Worth every penny.

Seems most reviewers here do not understand the meaning of the word silent. This unit is not as loud as some I’ve had but to suggest it is silent is ludicrous. It’s very obvious on the mid to high settings and whilst quieter on the lower settings does not push enough air. I just gave up trying to connect WiFi after a fruitless hour. OK but not worth the current asking price.

Just got it. It’s not silent but it’s not very noisy. The version I hit flex 2 did not come with battery and that was not advertised so I spent another €60. So this is not a cheap product. It is also a low fan. Doesn’t bother me as it’s neat but any other fan I had was taller. So far I’d say 6/10. Not good value for money if I am pushed to give a verdict.
