Review: LOVE THIS - but a little hard to open - trick to closing - I bought this to transport hot meals to work for lunch and it does a fantastic job. I was worried that it might be too small, but it's just the right size for me. It does keep my food warm. Some mentioned it leaking heat. It does leak some heat out of the top so I wouldn't put it near something you want to keep cold. It is hard for me to open. There is a handle on the top, but no handle anywhere on the body. So, it tends to twist together when you try to unscrew it. I've found along with pushing the release button that I have to hold the body between my legs to get the proper pressure to keep it from turning. There is a trick to getting it to screw closed correctly. I found that because my hot food is putting off steam, the lid doesn't always screw down correctly and would always pop out of the track.. What works is to screw the lid part way down, press the release button and then screw it down the rest of the way.
Review: Great option! - This is a great insulated food thermos for lunch. The size is generous which is sometimes great but I'd love a smaller option. The button to release the vacuum makes this much easier to open than the thermos brand jars my daughter had previously. We both really like the wide mouth/shape of this container that is more like a bowl since we primarily use it for pasta with meat sauce or rice with chicken and veggies. **Q: What is the inside of the lid made out of? What material?**
A: Plastic - I don't know specifically what kind of plastic, though.

**Q: Whats the size of the opening when the lid is removed?**
A: It's 5 inches.

**Q: Can you clean in the dishwasher?**
A: You CAN, but hand-washing is recommended.  Because it is vacuum insulated, you're better off handwashing.  I have had issues with other vacuum insulated containers in the dishwasher - the barrage of water can force moisture into the interstitial space and, over time, cause mold to grow...

**Q: how many containers it come with I saw 5 set but can tell if it true or not?**
A: Only one container per set.

I bought this to transport hot meals to work for lunch and it does a fantastic job. I was worried that it might be too small, but it's just the right size for me. It does keep my food warm. Some mentioned it leaking heat. It does leak some heat out of the top so I wouldn't put it near something you want to keep cold. It is hard for me to open. There is a handle on the top, but no handle anywhere on the body. So, it tends to twist together when you try to unscrew it. I've found along with pushing the release button that I have to hold the body between my legs to get the proper pressure to keep it from turning. There is a trick to getting it to screw closed correctly. I found that because my hot food is putting off steam, the lid doesn't always screw down correctly and would always pop out of the track.. This is a great insulated food thermos for lunch. The size is generous which is sometimes great but I'd love a smaller option. The button to release the vacuum makes this much easier to open than the thermos brand jars my daughter had previously. We both really like the wide mouth/shape of this container that is more like a bowl since we primarily use it for pasta with meat sauce or rice with chicken and veggies. Outcome- Disappointed! Food MUST be Eaten Immediately for food to be hot! For Full Review: Continue: *** BUYER BEWARE: Disappointed in this Product And I Rarely Use it Due To The Following: After 1 hour, This product only keeps food barely “tepid” which means: Less than warm. I’ve tried to preheat the container with boiling water (then emptying) prior to filling with oatmeal, soup, stew, etc. I’ve tried preheating in oven on lower temperature prior to filling with food ( then I wrap with kitchen towel for travel) to maintain internal heat— I’ve tried wrapping in foil for travel, nothing works! ***The best outcome is a barely warm meal EVEN if I put food in the container minutes before departure. ***ALSO- it is very difficult for me to open (even after pressing the release button on top of lid) let alone a child or elderly person. It is nice looking, BPA free, easy to hand wash— I did not place in dishwasher. Bentgo needs to start all over with this product!
