The Art of Assassin's Creed III

Now, don't get me wrong, I am a huge Assassin's Creed fan. But I'm all out sincere when I say this book was stunning. The cover itself was a beautiful scene, and I loved all the details in the making of Connor! And the art of Haytham and so on was brilliant. Any AC fan would be proud to own this.

I loved this game, and to see the artwork and detail placed into it, shows how much love was put into the game.

My only concern is that it feels like it was only a brief summary of some aspects of the game (art wise) and I think they could have added a lot more in some areas - particularly character development art and Iroquois concept studies (There was actually only a couple pages depicting them). But the artwork is absolutely gorgeous, so I can't complain very much.

Really love this book, great art and great quality

This book is a great coffee-table book, and it also gives a glimpse into the world of the game, Assassin's Creed III. The artists have truly captured the world and its surroundings in breathtaking details. I sure wish I could have met Connor!!! A must buy for any fans of the Assassin's Creed games!!!

Item arrived in excellent condition. Virtually brand new looking. The content is helpful for the aspiring artist, appreciative reader, and for those who enjoy the story magic making process for video games.

I was ever so please when I heard the thumped of the book come though the mail slot. Within the cover I was pleased to see page after page of digital renditions of areas with in the game, images of the characters very much completed and sections of weapon designs. Thankfully they didn't use any images from the game to take up space. I think what would have made this a little more fleshed would be the including of rougher images from the concept stage. You know, to get a look into the process within the designer's minds. Overall I rate this a lovely reference into a good game and I eagerly await the release of AC4's art book. ....And maybe one that includes bunches of work from the Ezio trilogy.

It looks as advertised. Nice cover, great quality images, timely delivery. Gift was for a sequential arts major looking to get into video games. Seemed very pleased with the book.
