Brilliant product
Osmo wood oil with UV protection, has to be one of the best products available for exterior wood protection. It goes onto the wood evenly and easily and provides great protection against the rain and sun. I used light oak tint and it has provided a nice colour to the ageing wood. Two things to watch out for are 1) you must prepare the wood as per product nstructions. If not you are wasting your time applying the oil. 2) the odour is very strong even when used outdoors. So jeep the kids away and maybe use a suitable mask.

Water repellent
Brillliant project with great coverage. I ordered a ton of light oak but what arrived was clear, this was however replaced within 24 hours which was brilliant. Water beads right up and rolls off. Used to coat some oak sleepers that we turned into a swing frame. Will certainly be using OSMO products for some further projects we have planned!!

Not good
Spent 3 days sanding a load of furniture, was told this was the best thing to colour them oak. Painting it on and immediately the wood went to the yellowy cheap pine colour. Glad I did a test patch.

Great product to restore weathered heat treated fence panels
After some research, this product resolved as the best option. Happy with the results. Sand preparation, and brush applied. Expensive Per Litre cost but hoping time will tell. Would recommend.
