Good overall product. Before ordering, I had a picture of what I was going to make in mind, matcha cookies. The color of this culinary matcha is not the bright green that I imagined but a darker shade, like a Christmas tree. As part of the order, a kind Teavast employee sent me a generous sample of their Premium Culinary Matcha along with the standard product. The standard product was sufficient at first but I found myself adding more than the recipe called for as I wasn't able to taste a strong matcha flavor in my first batch of cookies. After making two or three batches of cookies with the standard product, I tried out the premium and seeing that it had a stronger matcha flavor without having to add more product, I decided to stick with the premium.If the premium product were sold as the original product or the price of this product was reduced to compete with the other matcha products onAmazon, this product would have received 5 stars.

I don't know how this has such great reviews. For tea making, it's awful. You can whisk for 3 solid minutes and still end up with a big wasted lump at the bottom. My first matcha experience was with a small, albeit pricey, tin from a grocery store. It was organic and was delicious. Dissolved easily with only a little grain at the bottom. It was $13 for 2 oz. and since I drink it every day instead of coffee now, I wanted a cheaper alternative. Amazon to the rescue. I read review after review and finally decided on this brand. Even my fiance, who doesn't care either way for matcha, tried it a few months after he originally tried the first one I bought. He also really disliked the taste of this one, claiming the other was better. Anxiously awaiting running out of this so I can switch back.

I thought I was going to be disappointed when I first bought this bag of matcha. I am an avid matcha drinker and I always drink Japanese matcha but occasionally I would explore. I was surprise that the pictures did not lie like other matchas I have bought on Amazon.I have attached a couple of pictures of the matcha. It will show how it looks like before and after brew. I drink it cold most of the time and oh wow, it was a surprise. This matcha actually taste amazing, it has hints of dragonwell or longjing. I guess because it comes from Zhejiang Province, I am not sure but it was a surprise.I notice the powder was extremely fine compare to others and I can easily froth the matcha with my electrical whisk. It is like an iced matcha latte without any sugar added, which was perfect for me since I drink it that way anyways.Overall Thoughts = Great buy for the price 113g of matcha / 3g for 12oz = about 37 serving compare to the ones on Amazon right now, great color.Negative = Why didn’t I find this brand earlier? I could of saved so much money, matcha is not cheap.

I finally got a chance to try Teavast’s matcha and its great. I used it for my matcha syrup on pancakes and vanilla ice cream. I was previously using the uvernal matcha and it wasn’t as good, I’m glad I switched over. I found a few recipe on their website that was pretty good, I got to try their honey dew matcha freeze later and it was delicious. Teavast Culinary Matcha is great for the price, and I would definitely would recommend it. I don’t think it’s great for beverages because the color could be a lot greener. Overall, it’s a great culinary matcha.

I always go to the gym but I did drink powder because I think the powder will make me fat if I didn't do enough power exercise. Then I find out Matcha can help my body recirculation. I do like the taste, which is taste like the latte. The Teavast Matcha is very concentrated so one bag is enough for a long time if I just drink once a day. I will try to use it for making others like cookies or smooth.

I like it! I purchased other brand before, it comes with very little Matcha. I am satisfied with how much Matcha do they have in the this bag for this price. I have been using this Matcha for a while, I am not only drinking it by its own, but Also use it in the milk, soy milk and making cakes. This product has strong Matcha smell and taste smooth. Would buy it again.

I ordered this product because I have heard a lot of great thing about it. I have had different matcha green tea before but this one for sure is much higher in quality compared to those that I have tried. The flavor and texture is great. I made myself a cup of hot matcha green tea with some honey and tangerine juice this morning. Very refreshing way to start my day! Highly recommended!

This matcha has a very fine texture which makes it easier to dissolve and blend into liquid. The color of this matcha is almost like moss green that adds a good splash of color to my drinks. I just add it into milk and froths it till it turns into a nice green foam! It makes drinking matcha so much more interesting!The taste is strong enough to hold up even when I added to my coffee, what a pleasant surprise! I will consider using it to make pastries as well because of its aroma. A great option if you want to try something organic and of good quality.
