Review: Great product - I purchased this product after listening to Ben Greenfield's podcast on Essential Amino Acids. I Don't love the taste, but I expected that and don't want added fillers or junk in the product. I actually prefer it that way. I trust Ben's opinion that Essential Amino Acids are the way to go. I am taking this product in about 8 oz. of water as opposed to my typical 24 oz so that I don't have to sip on it. (It's not BAD tasting, but I simply don't love it and would rather get it down. If you're looking for something to sip on, give it a try. I will probably buy the pill form next time. Review: Refreshing and Effective – My New Go-To Supplement! - I've tried several amino acid supplements over the years, but Kion Essential Amino Acids in Cool Lime absolutely stands out. The flavor is crisp, refreshing, and not overly sweet—perfect for hot days or post-workout recovery. It mixes well with water and doesn't leave any chalky residue, which is a big plus. What really impressed me is how energized and focused I feel after taking it. Whether I'm using it before a workout, during a long work session, or just as a midday pick-me-up, I notice a real boost in stamina and mental clarity without any jittery side effects. Kion clearly prioritizes quality, and it shows in how clean and effective this formula feels. I also love that it supports muscle recovery without added sugar or fillers. Cool Lime has officially earned a permanent spot in my daily routine! Every human has unique amino requirements. Ideally have an amino acids test and see what you are low in. Then only buy products that match your needs. It is dangerous and even life-threatening to have too much of an amino acid you are sensitive to. **Q: What makes this brand worth it at 2 - 3 times the cost of others?** A: If you read the Kion answer you can see that its worth triple as long as you dont compare it to other EAA products instead you compare it to BCAA and then its better! Make sense? **Q: IS it green powder?** A: No it is a white powder form of amino acids **Q: is it non GMO?** A: Kion Aminos are non GMO, vegan, gluten Free, and are soy and dairy free. There are no plant residues or sugars, yeast, corn, wheat, rice, preservatives, excipients or animal products. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by T***A on 30 June 2019* I purchased this product after listening to Ben Greenfield's podcast on Essential Amino Acids. It is unbearable. I dont know if it is just this lime flavor or if all the flavors taste this bad, but I am extremely disappointed that I dropped this much money and can’t drink it. I even added it to my clear protein and could still taste the horribleness. Sorry Kion but you dropped the ball on this one. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kion Aminos Essential Amino Acids Supplement - Amino Acid Powder, Amino Energy Powder, Essential Energy Without Caffeine, Essential Amino Acids, BCAA EAA - 30 Servings, Cool Lime - Kion Creatine | Fuel Your Performance, Energy & Strength | 30 Servings - LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes - Citrus Salt | Drink Mix | 30-Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/430868247-essential-amino-acids-powder-amino-acids-supplement-for-muscle-recovery](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/430868247-essential-amino-acids-powder-amino-acids-supplement-for-muscle-recovery) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
