Metra 82-3006 6" to 6-3/4" Speaker Adapter for GM Multi 05-Up,Black, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

These fit a 2015 Tahoe with the Bose system perfectly.

This kit worked as advertised. It fit my truck (2007 suburban) perfectly. The only problem was with the speaker holes didnt line up perfectly with holes on the adapters. This has more to do with the type of speakers than with the adapter itself. I have different brands of speakers in the front and back doors. Pioneer speakers lined up fine, polk audio speakers were a little off. They were off enough I could only get three of the four screws into the speaker and adapter. I dont see this becoming an issue at all as long as you tighten the screws as much as you can. Still did the job just fine.

I own a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt and everyone know there is no speaker adapter available for that car. After doing a lot of research I figured I would just buy these anyway and see what I could do instead of modifying the original GM speakers to accept aftermarket ones. When they arrived, I installed my speakers into the adapters and went to go put them in the door. The holes lined up perfectly but the adapter did not exactly fit in the door. All I had to do was take a Sawzall and cut out one side of the bracket (different on R & L sides) and what do you know, they fit in the door and the door panel went on just fine. The speaker stabilized the bracket and it went right in and who cares what it looks like, you cannot see any of it. Only frustrating thing was all the plastic dust from cutting but that was fine with me.

These brackets appear to be fine, unfortunately they didn't fit the Chevy Sonic I was attempting to use them for. Pay close attention to the application you're trying to use them for, Chevy apparently made a number of different bracket variations for different vehicles.

I did not want to make an abs plate for my 2013 Silverado so I took a chance on these. They easily fit my Image Dynamics CXS 64s (5-5/8" cutout dimensions). If your drivers are heavy, make sure you attach additional screws/ rivets because this is intended to fit directly in place of the stock speaker and only has one screw. I used NVX sound deadener on my doors and Stinger fast rings to help direct some of the sound. FYI, If you have an extended cab like me, these do not fit the rear doors because the speaker is a different size and shape. You will need to either cut out the factor speaker or make an abs/ mdf adapter.

Used for 2010 Chevy Cobalt, fit exactly as intended and was a good value. A couple of things that would make this an even better product/value:1) Good double sided foam tape on the side that makes contact with the door frame would be really nice.2) Including 8-16 screws that are the correct 1/2" length to be able to mount any speaker to this.Would definitely buy again if needed

Good quality part as expected from Metra. Though this part was to be a fit for a 2010 Chevy Cobalt but a bit to big. After some modification to the bracket and the door panel I got these to fit nicely so I can mount my 6.5" speakers. I now have no speaker vibrations

Fits perfectly in my 2012 malibu. Just make sure you get some #8 x 5/8 screws to mount the speaker into the adapter.

Worked good to install aftermarket speakers in my 2015 silverado double cab rear doors. Had to add some foam tape between the plastic and metal of the door to prevent rattling, but good product.

Fit perfectly in my 2007 Pontiac G5! Needed them for a pair of 120W speakers in the front doors as one of the factory speakers died.
