The packing does leave something to be desired; our first order arrived with the top corner dented in somewhat. The replacement had no dents but did have the surface rubbing on them that another reviewer mentioned. However, at the discounted Warehouse price it's nothing to complain about.

I bought these thinking I'd use them to hide my jewelry in plain sight but quickly realized they really can only lay on one side or all of the items inside would just fall to the bottom so you really can't stack them verticle like the photo shows as far as using it for jewelry. Maybe if it had tiny shelves in it or something. Works good laying on the side though.

This decorative box set was used to fill a small 6 inch high space below a television that used to contain DVR equipment that was no longer needed. The boxes appeared just as expected from the pictures and description and arrived in good condition. Only 2 of the 3 boxes could be stacked on top of each other in a 6 inch high space so we set one box 4 inches or so to the side of the other boxes. As with any decorative box like this, additional accessories are needed to compliment the boxes. We added a couple small teddy bears with a complimentary brown color to sit in front of or to the side of the boxes. If used in the family room, you could put the TV remote in a box, or various nicknacks such as individually wrapped candy, etc.
