CAR GUYS Hybrid Spray Wax | Advanced Car Wax | Long Lasting and Easy To Use | Safe on All Surfaces | 18 Oz Kit with Towel

I don't know why I didn't get to this review until now but I've been using CAR GUYS Hybrid Spray Wax Advanced Car Wax since January of 2020. I like this wax because you can put it on everything! I bought a Subaru Outback that has tons of black plastic cladding, mud flaps and spoiler. We all know what usually happens when you get your favorite liquid or paste wax on you black plastic parts... You can spray this on all the black plastic cladding, and your weather stripping, grill parts, black plastic on your pickups bumper cover, mud flaps, windows, wheels, no problem if you get overs pray on the tires. I literally use this on all the outside parts of my vehicles. Then I open the doors and use it around the jams, on the weather stripping/seals, and door sills. It makes all you black plastic look better, leaves a light satin sheen on your black parts. I'm not saying this will bring your faded black plastic parts that have turned gray back to new. I am saying that if you use this on black plastic parts that are in good shape it will help you keep them that way. It not only acts like a wax but it also protects from UV damage. It also works great on the paint leaving it slicker than many more labor intensive waxes. Again, if your paint is already in bad shape I'm not saying it will bring it back to new, but if its not to far gone it will help protect what you have. I'm not going to say this spray wax is as durable or long lasting as paste or liquid waxes. I will say that if you spray this on top of the wax your using it is likely to feel smoother and shed water better. I'll also say that this spray wax goes on so easy I get my Subaru Outback done in the time it takes to drink a beverage of my choice. If I do my crew cab truck it's two adult beverages. Spray it on, it doesn't take much, just follow the directions. I use a small microfiber cloth or sponge to apply it, usually one 16"x16" micro fiber towel gets the buffing done. Then I get another one to give it a quick wipe down, starting with all the windows. the windows first then everything else. Then if you like, another beverage of your choice while you admire your nice shiny ride. Oh yeah, did I mention you can use this to protect all the black plastic trim, weatherstripping, door gaskets and whatever else without fear of the white mess that most waxes leave behind? Full disclosure: I wax my vehicles with Car Guy's liquid wax twice a year in early spring and late fall. I use the spray wax about every four to six washes. I wash with a good car clean and shine car wash soap. Bottom line,,, I've been using this for about a little over four years now and I easily keep my cars and trucks looking their best with Car Guy's products. I am meticulous about my vehicles and always get compliments about them. I always get all the money for them when I'm ready for a new one too!. Thanks for consistently great products Car Guy's!

Unbelievable Product! I am 77 year old female that is extremely particular about the looks of my automobile! This is now my go to line of product! Easy to apply/remove leaves mirror shine. Fingernail scratches at door handles - gone! Rain rolls off leaving shine not spots. Applied to window exterior no streak clear in rain. No wax smell. Best Buy ! Do not pass up!

This spray wax is amazing! I’ve used many different brands, and this one is the best, it sprays on very easy, and is easy to wipe off. You don’t need a lot of muscle to spread it around. It leaves a nice shine on my car, people have asked what I use on my car! I will not use anything else on it but the car guys wax. Definitely worth the money!

Worked on windows, seats, dash, mirrors, rubber and plastic, in addition to the excellent shine on my exterior aftermarket paint. It seems like it will last. It’s all about the convenience - a quick spray that had no leakage. A walk around the car with the supplied towel (the thick towel will last long, rarely need washing, and removed all stickiness) and I was done in minutes, solid outcome with no streaking.

Tested product on a black 2009 Honda Civic, which hasn't been well taken care of, and a 2015 black Audi A3 with near perfect paint and sleeps underneath a car cover. Worked well on the Civic. Think it's best used as a "wax-as-you-dry" product. Created a decent shine and water beaded ok, for a week or two. On the Audi, same thing, works well right after a wash. Decent shine, ok water beading. The cons: 1) Does leave visible streaks and splotches at times. Needs immediate on and off, which is why it works best as a wax as you dry product. Think of using this as a bottle or canned wax, and not an easy to use spray product, compared to something like the quick waxes and fast-finish products out there. Don't let it cure. Do not use in heat or direct sunlight. 2) You're going to need a whole lot. The mistake I did with the Civic was, I didn't use the product liberally enough to make the wax-like shell finish. With the Audi, I used the whole bottle (the smaller one) with 2 coats. At close to $20, and this not being a ceramic coating with a year or more warranty on it....I see it as $20 a wash / application. I just wish it came off the car(s) easier. But I'm starting to think these cermaic / hybrid waxes coming out are just like this. The Meguiar's cermaic / hybrid wax was like spraying a car with grease and still can't get it off. Meguairs fash-finish is SO EASY to use and immediate quick results. Spray Waxes out there are quicker and easier to use. Just not completely impressed with these cermaic / hybrid spray waxes. And their marketing enticement to have a ceramic coated car you can do on your own. Think its best if you want a ceramic coat to have it done by a professional (and even this is up to debate if they truly work or last).

I’ve always been a Meguiar’s guy but I really like this wax. Very easy to apply and to take off. Leaves a great shine that goes deep. I like the polish cloth that it comes with as well.

Recomnded after car wash. It will shine your car

Very easy to use (spray on, wipe off), and yet gives incredible slickness and gloss. I really was taken aback by the slickness once I was done. The added bonus is the fact that it can be spray over trim and glass without any discolouration. First bit of rain today after applying it 4 days ago and the water formed tight little beads and rolled right off! Very happy with the purchase and will be a repeat customer.

Jury still out on product. Easy to use but difficult to see where applied due to lack of any coloring. Did leave a slight sheen to the touch on application but not as good as other products I have used. It rained following application and there was beading but longevity of product still to be determined. Leaves a shine on car but less than expected and no better than other products I have used. The manufacturer claim for product are inflated in my view and having used many other products in the past, this one did not meet expectations. While it is ok I feel it is overpriced and there are others available that can do just as good or better a job at a much cheaper cost. Overall I was disappointed with this product and rate it only as ok.

I did a lot of research before buying and this sealant/wax is everything I hoped it would be for my car. Easy to use, you don't have to load it on and it makes the finish water repellent and really smooth. I chose to clay bar first and it made a big difference. It says any surface including glass but I recommend not using it on the windshield just in case that isn't obvious. I tried it, just to see if it would behave like Rain Away but it makes things cloudy for night driving. Side windows are fine and it keeps them really clear. Not sure how long it lasts but you need more than a spray or two for each fair sized area so the bottle should last a while.
