Women's Greek Goddess Costume

I purchased this for Halloween this year (2019) and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and comfortable it was. I wore it to work and received many compliments. I would recommend a slip under the dress if you are wearing it during the day - it's a little see through. This is an A-line dress (with gold strings below bosom) which made it very comfortable to wear. Made me rethink my wardrobe! I'm petite - 5'-2" and purchased a Small/Medium 2-8 size and it fit perfectly around, but a little long so I wore it with gold (1") platform sandals. I also decided to iron it to remove all wrinkles - use very low heat - in my case, I was able to iron directly on dress without a problem. Lovely material, smooth, and just hung beautifully. Head hand with garland kept slipping - not sure if it's my head shape - but I ended up using bobby pins and that did the trick to keep things in place. Would highly recommend if you want to dress up and feel like a real goddess!

I bought this for a toga themed bunco night with the girls. Turned out a friend of mine bought the same costume! It fit as expected. I'm 5'5", a size 12, bust size is 38C, and it was just the right length. Didn't drag on the ground. It wasn't sheer or see-through anywhere, so I felt comfortable wearing it in public. My costume didn't have a liner, but my friend's did. Her's was also a shade darker. I think we bought different sizes, which might be the reason why. I'm the taller one on the left in the pic. I am wearing 3 inch heels, which is why it's high off the ground. Without shoes, it is floor length, but doesn't drag on the ground. As you can see on my shorter friend, her's does drag on the ground a bit. She's wearing flat sandals and she's 5'2". This was a very fun dress to wear, and I'll definitely wear it again. This is a very cute and reasonably priced costume. It is very flattering on and will look good on almost anyone. There is a lot of fabric to this outfit so can hide any problem areas you might have. It also comes with a cute headband. Only issue I had with the outfit is that it wasn't long like other reviewers stated! I am 5'8 and I wanted it to hit the floor, instead it only came to about mid calf so I could not wear heels with it. Still a cute outfit but if you are tall beware, all these costumes are apparently created equal.

The costume is pretty and actually well made for the price. I am 5’3 and 140 pounds. I purchased a size small. The costume includes the dress and the gold leaf headband. It is a very comfortable dress, but low cut and the circles openings on the shoulder make wearing a bra with straps a no no. Recommend using some sort of strapless bra or the new sticky pad alternative and wear nudes. It is a nice off-White/cream color and the blue is more teal.

I'm 5 6' 38D. The costume was perfect. It is very sexy and flattering to anybody type. The only bad thing was it did have a horrible smell when it came out of the package. I did wash it cold water hand wash cycle hung it up to dry and it was perfect. I did use a cool iron on it and then the smell came back. I sprayed some perfume and it was gone. so you probably don't have to wash it just hang it up to air it out before wearing. I received many compliments throughout the evening. If you have a slip cream color it would be perfect underneath because in certain lighting, you can see through it. If not just make sure your undergarments sexy.

Fine enough costume for the price, but desperately needs a light lining... the cheapest polyester would do. Right before the event I was wearing this to, I found myself scrambling to find a full slip. Who owns a full slip any more?!! It would cost the manufacturer $2 or less to add an opaque underlayer from the waist down and I would have gladly paid it. Would probably NOT recommend this to others due to the see-through factor. The toga party I attended had many equally inexpensive examples of toga costumes that were opaque.

I LOVED how this looked! I ordered this for a Toga party and I was definitely best dressed. Material isn’t exactly “cloth”, it’s more of a slick feeling textile. Regardless, ir was very comfortable to wear and comfortable to wear throughout the night. I will admit that the dress was a little too conservative for me so I did end up altering a slit into the dress. It was a little loose but the gold cords help to cinch the waist in.

The vendor shipped on time. The costume is as described. I am 5' 8.5" and approx 150 lbs. I think the next size up would be way too big but this size is a little snug in the arm holes. It is difficult to say that a dress is going to fit a woman who is size 2 and a woman who is a size 8, that is a big size difference. One other note, the piece of fabric that is shown flowing over the shoulders and down the arms is not quite accurate. Once you have the dress on you really have one piece of fabric in the front of the shoulder and one piece of fabric on the back of the shoulder that flows down each side of the arm but the outside of the arms are completely revealed with no coverage.

Great costume but changed my mind and went with another option and returned it with no problem at all.
