Very durable cord that lasted me many many years!

The unit I received was defective, but was probably the shipper's (third party's) fault, not Amazon's. I bought this from a seller in Hong Kong and it took around 20 days to arrive in a brown envelope and the usb cable inside was surrounded by bubble wrap. The cable itself though is sturdy, long, and was a steal for $3 at the time. Too bad my none of my computers could recognize it. It wasnt a total loss in my case though; I now use it to tie things here and there temporarily due to its good quality and length.As a tip I recommend that you try to buy these type of electronic accessories from US sellers even if it's a little more expensive because of the shipping time and also due to a better chance of recieving a functioning unit due to my fair share of malfunctioning or 'not as displayed' orders from sellers mostly from Asia. It's more of a gamble, but I really don't mind these small things as I am quite imaginative on what to do with defectives.

We needed to use an old printer once again after quite a long period of disuse. After being in the closet that long the cord was missing. I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to find one but was thankfully able to get this cord. The length is excellent for me since I don’t keep my laptop or printer on a desk so that I can be mobile around my home and this allows me to place my laptop a good distance from the printer and still use it. It is a sturdy well made cable and it performs well. I had no problems plugging it into my laptop or printer. It is rather nice having my printer back I had forgotten how convenient it could be to print at home. I would recommend this cable to anyone looking for a new printer cable or needing a replacement for one that was lost or damaged.

I simply needed a longer printer cable. Went to local store and saw they started at 15 bucks !!!! The length I needed was 24 bucks !!!! I ALMOST got it BUT my conscious said " Hey man , why don't you look on Amazon first?"So I did just that and was SHOCKED at how much I was almost ripped off. Ordered the size I needed,no extra shipping(actually fast)FOR wait for it....... under 3 smackers !!!! Not joking here ! Now, on to the cable..... It is a bit thinner than the other printer cables I own. It reads 24 WG as opposed to 28 WG on the more expensive cables that are apparently better shielded(from what I don't know!). I have used it to print high resolution prints wit NO PROBLEMS so far. Same with plain documents. Will soon be buying more just to have !!!!!!! In my usage I have found that I don't need expensive gold plated,platinum enhanced shielding or what not !!!! Just the plain ol cable !Thanks seller and good job !!Mako

This is a pretty simple review to write: this cord is about exactly what I expected. It functions well, it is PLENTY long for my home office, and it is reliable. I use it to connect my laptop to my wireless printer (the wireless function works for printing, but does not work for scanning from the printer back up to the computer) so that is how I use this item. I'm glad I have it, I will keep it for a long time as long as it continues to function well, and it arrived in a timely manner, well packaged and in brand new condition. I'm glad I purchased, it was a simple purchase to make, and the price is very reasonable.

I ordered this for my printer for my first year in college. What a great value! So pleased with its performance.I should also commend the manufacturer...I was extremely frustrated when the product had not been delivered nearly 4 weeks after its expected date. Apparently there was a shipping malfunction where the computer system sent packages to the wrong people. However, it did arrive in excellent condition.My only real complaint would be that I had to report that the package was missing twice. The second time, the person in charge of my case seemed to have no recollection of my problem. Maybe it wasn't properly documented the first time...The second person I spoke with via email took care of my problem and even sent me an additional cable (I can't quite remember the name) at no cost. Talk about customer service! Now if only that had happened the first time around...Overall, you should buy this product from this company. It seems that my experience was isolated and the product works flawlessly.

First of all, I ordered this cable yesterday morning, standard 5-10 day shipping. When I got home from work at noon today, it was already in my mailbox! That's awesome, especially considering it was free shipping.I like this cable. It's exactly as described on the product listing... thin and long, and I'll probably accidentally destroy it in a couple months, but it was so cheap I don't mind buying another. So I plugged in my printer (an older model Epson Stylus) and tried to print a test page and it wouldn't work... All I did was re-install the printer and that fixed it. And again, I'm not the brightest with this stuff, so I am quite pleased that this cheap little cable has worked out so well so far!

I bought this cable from Sunvalleytek who offered free shipping, so in total, I ended up paying a whopping $2 for this cable. When you go to one of the big office or box stores, you'll be lucky to find any of this length under $15, and even then, most are sold only online, where you'd also have to pay shipping.As other reviews have noted, the gauge of the cable is a bit on the thinner side when compared to other cables on the market, but I'm using this exclusively for my Brother Laser Printer, so there's no real power being passed through it continually, and I definitely don't plan on rolling over it with an office chair. But for $2, I cannot complain, it works.

I liked the idea of getting a 10 ft cable but I could not get it to work with my Canon printer & Windows 7 64 bit, the customer service was really good in trying to help but it was still a no go.
