Great Value for 20£
I bought this ZOOAOXO MP3 player in June 2024, and for the price, it has been excellent value. The sound quality through headphones is surprisingly clear, and the Bluetooth 5.2 connection works smoothly with both earbuds and speakers. The battery life is impressive too; I can easily get over a week of light use without charging. Its size and weight make it perfect for carrying around during workouts or commuting. The interface isn’t very intuitive. The touch buttons can feel a bit finicky at times. However, once you get used to it, it’s manageable. The FM radio and voice recorder features work as expected, though I rarely use them. In terms of durability, it has held up well. I’ve been using it daily for nearly two years now. The only problem I had was when I accidentally spilled coffee on it; amazingly, it continued to work fine at first, but after a few months, the touch buttons became less responsive. That’s my fault, not the product's. For under €25, I can’t complain. If you want a reliable MP3 player with good Bluetooth and decent storage, this is a great choice. Just be sure to keep it away from your morning coffee.

A good piece of equipment for the price.
Better than I expected. No problem with bluetooth and a better range than my other devices. Transfering files is easy. Battery life is pretty good. " the last file played" is a nice option, so when you come back you can pick up where you left off. The build is metal so it is very solid giving it a quality feel.

Broken firmware and dead memory card
The actual hardware is very nice. Feels solid, well made. The buttons respond when pressed. Unfortunately the memory card supplied with it is cheap and nasty. It has died within 5 weeks of light use. Just outside the return window naturally. The device was also unable to index and list more than 6 tracks. Every time it scanned it stopped quickly and refused to update. Reformatting the card, reinitialising the database files did nothing. It was only usable by the folder view. If you will supply your own memory card and are happy to not be able to search by album, artist, favourites, play lists, shuffle but get by with just a folder to play your music then it's OK. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Good Little Player.
I read all the reviews prior to purchase and at this price level was surprised it rated so highly. On reciept I was pleasantly surprised, it is structurally a fine piece of kit. The interface is not as complex as some would lead you to believe. The 64Gb card provided is fine, but there is only one place for the provided IEM's, the bin. Played through it decent pair of IEM's it produces great sound considering it's price point. It was provided with a 64Gb card, which, unfortunately is not quite large enough for my purposes. I slipped in a good quality 128Gb card with twice the content. It took a little longer, but not much, to update the music collection. But, worked just as well as the smaller card. This allows me to use FLAC versions of my music because of the extra capacity. I did not encounter any problems with the larger capacity card, but I have not been using it too long. The display will not give you Album Artwork, but at the price I paid I would not expect it to. Besides, who looks at the player when on a sunbed sipping a decent cocktail. The screen is not a touch screen, it relies on touching 'key' areas below the screen or the physical buttons. A great player at a great price.

Kind of works- depends on what you want!
It’s a £20+ media player so what do you expect ? I my case I wanted to play FLAC files that I have carefully copied and tagged from my own CD’s so I can play them on the move. I used my own 128gb san disk micro SD card. I have not tried the supplied micro SD card or in fact , the usb card holder or headphones. They look okish for the money. To get music on the device I copied the music directly from a pc, into directories that are well named on to my own microSD card using a USB 3 card reader. The supplied SD card reader looks like it’s a usb 2 one which would be very slow. Pros: small, reasonable light and solid, USB C charging. It plays FLAC files. The interface is generally quick (though see the cons below). Looks like it will scratch easily, so you may want to leave the plastic film on it or buy a cover. MP3 and wav files all seem to work. The Bluetooth connected to my Bose quiet comfort headphones without issue. Playback via BT (so far) has been fine with no drop outs at reasonably close range. The sound quality via BT and directly connected sennheiser hd640 headphones is ok, it’s a £20 player. See below for a way you can get around the following list of cons Cons: The interface is for me essentially unusable. 1) I have over 150 album’s so to scroll through to the middle ones in the list takes up to 75 clicks, or a very slow auto scroll. As the player forgets where you are in the list between power ups this gets very tedious. There is no search capability. 2) if I select to play by artist it lumps all their tracks from all their albums in a single list. With some very long names it’s hard to find the one you want, also you have the same slow scroll or loads of clicks. But it’s even worse, if I try to select an artist, it in fact opens up the tracks for an artist 1/2/3 or 4 ahead or below in the list, getting the one you want is a tedious exercise of trial and error. Again it forgets between reboot where you were last in the list. Getting it to sort of work: In an attempt to make this thing useful I have ended up using the ‘folder mode’ in the menu to navigate the micro SD card files and directories directly and built my own directory structure and named the files so as it makes sense to me (I did all of this on pc before not on the device) So in my case I have setup a directories for each letter of the alphabet and moved all the artists into the correct one with their albums and tracks. So now I can scroll quickly to the first letter, down into the folder of artists and then select the directory and then the album. Groan! It’s a reasonable (for the price) device that is let down by the Interface. If ever there was a device crying out for the built in software to be open sourced so we can write/fix/extend it then this is it. If someone could allow developers (me!) in to write a decent interface this could be a good maker platform.

Great
Great Mp3 player , compact but powerful, have hundreds of tracks on it and still room for more, had afor over a year now and still works perfectly.

Good player but did not connect to Bluetooth
Works ok apart from not connecting to Bluetooth in the car. Bit disappointing as bought for Bluetooth connectivity.
