Highly Recommend for Hardwood Floors
I purchased the Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool from Amazon and am completely satisfied. I bought it to use with my new Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Canister Animal (what a mouthful!) The tool is meant for previous vacuums with the silver clip. However, my new vacuum came with a silver-to-red adapter and it works perfectly on this tool. The tool comes with an adapter for even older Dyson vacuums. My four bedroom house is all hardwood flooring except the bathrooms, which are tile. They say the turbine head that came with the vacuum is good for wood floors and they’re probably right. However, I can’t get over the idea that a rotating brunch will leave fine scratches in the wood. Besides, I can’t reach deep under furniture with a power head like I can with this tool. This tool is soft and glides effortlessly over the wood. It’s light, so you don’t need to exert a lot of energy pushing it around. Because it rotates, I can reach into cramped spaces. With the canister wand I can reach deep under the sofa. Basically, it replaces a dust mop, which is why I bought the vacuum to begin with.I’ve read some reviews that say the brushes gum up with hair. I did not have that problem and I have two shedding terriers. Like all brushes, it will get some hair in it. I just do like I’ve done for every vacuum I’ve ever used. When I get hair in the brush, I vacuum it out.I’ve heard other reviewers say they think this tool should have come with the vacuum. That I definitely agree with. The vacuum should have also come with a tool bag, but that’s another story. I suppose Dyson figures the turbo head is all you need, but for me this soft brush head is the perfect accessory for the Dyson canister.

No more dust under my low clearance furniture!
I've purchased several attachments for my Dyson vacuums, and this is my favorite attachment. I'm very glad I took the chance and bought it. What I mean by "taking a chance": I was afraid to purchase it at first because on the Dyson website it states that it is not an accessory for the hand-held, cordless DC35--and that is what I wanted to use it with. I decided to go ahead and take the chance, thinking that if it wouldn't fit on the cordless, at least I could still use it with my full-size DC14.So, I'm here to state that it does attach--correctly; not held on by wedging it in; not held on with tape; not finagled in any way;--to the DC35.This attachment is a workhorse: It picks up the dust bunnies and the loose dust that sits under my furniture. Up until now, only my Swiffer or a broom with a dust rag wrapped around it, would move the dust from under my low clearance furniture. And I don't think the dust moved very far, and when I wasn't looking it moved right back to its hiding place. Some people have been disappointed with the fact that dust bunnies seem to stick to the fine brushes of this attachment. I think you need those fine brushes to pick up what needs to be picked up. So be it, if you have to clean the fine bristles: I use an old wash cloth--just a touch damp--to remove the web-like dust bunnies from the bristles. The wings of this attachment will fit under my sound system "black box": 1 ½" clearance. The whole head fits easily under any 3 ½" clearance. This attachment also has superior maneuverability.I'm also here to say that I'm not a big fan of vacuuming! So, I'm very happy right now to say that I've noticed a definite decrease in the amount of dust in my house. It seems that with the attachments I've purchased, I've eliminated more dust, more effectively and more efficiently. That's a lotta' "more"! And it shows on my floors, and under the furniture, and around the cat boxes, and on the ceilings, and on the blinds and on the ceiling fans! Actually, with using the attachments even just one time, I'm now spending less time doing my regular vacuuming. And that's a very good thing!

Unbias review
So my cenetic dyson animal allergy came today. As always I grabbed the box and tore into it like Ralphys Red Ryder BB gun on Christmas morning. After getting everything assembled I glanced at the manual which was very easy to understand as I do like the picture illustrations. At a first look I wish it had additional holders for onboard tools. Other than that it really had a sleek look. Plugged in and powered on. As a married man my wife wouldn't ever expect me to vacuum let alone the whole house lol. After finishing the first room I was appalled as to how much dirt was in the container. To paint a picture we keep a tidy house with white carpet. Seeing the microscopic dust collected in the container was unreal. After the first room I felt somewhat of a goal to see how much dirt I could find throughout the house. Need less to say the vacuum itself is AMAZING! The attachments included are somewhat troubling to find a use for them. I do have to say the turbine attachment is awesome. Traditional attachment are necessary as well but the others I might be able to do without. Maybe someone else could find a better use than sitting In the bag. I gave it 5 stars for good reason with the ease of use and overall performance. As far as turning it on carpet and or hardwood was found to be easier than most described. I found that if you just tilt the handle left or right then Following the curvature of the "big ball" turns the vacuum very easily. I also love how easy the tube extension is to use and is very long and almost self retracts when walking back to the vacuum. Caring for this vacuum with minimal knowledge i see being easy and the vacuum itself lasting a very long time with the above mentioned minimal care.
