Nascool Peak Flow Meter for Adults & Kids

I bought this on our doctor's recommendation so that some of my son's follow-up appointments could take place virtually. After the initial in-person visits, the doctor explained that having a peak flow meter at home would let us take breathing measurements and share the results as part of his ongoing care. This has been a very worthwhile purchase for our family. The biggest benefit is practical: fewer drives to appointments and less time pulled out of school. Being able to provide the requested readings from home has made those doctor-approved virtual visits much easier to fit into our day. It means less disruption to his routine and more time together as a family. The meter has been reliable in our use, and it feels like a good-quality product at a reasonable price. I bought it for a specific purpose in a plan directed by his doctor, and it has served that purpose well. Having the equipment available when we need it has been worth every penny. For us, this wasn't a gadget bought out of curiosity. It was a practical recommendation that made an ongoing appointment schedule more manageable. Five stars for a useful product that has made a real difference to our family's routine.

This is a basic digital peak flow meter. The red, yellow, green marking on it in the picture is just a marking with no function. It does register quickly and the size is easy to hold. I am working on understanding in more detail how my breathing is before and after I use medication and in between time how I am doing and the digital reading is helpful versus one that is not digital. I am not using the app as I find it easier to record it myself. Overall, it is a basic, digital peak flow meter that is easy to use.

The meter itself seems capable of producing plausible readings, but the advertised Bluetooth experience is a small consumer-electronics fever dream. My unit is labeled SMPF-3C. The ePEF app has Bluetooth permission, the iPhone’s Bluetooth is working, the meter is powered on, and I followed the supplied instructions. The result: no connection, no Bluetooth symbol on the device, and no transferred measurements. The values visible in the app were entered manually. The app keeps offering “Bluetooth sync” while also reporting “Device disconnected,” which is a little like a hotel advertising room service and then handing you a grocery list. There is no clear pairing procedure, no obvious way to activate Bluetooth on the meter, and no documentation that adequately explains whether this exact model even contains the feature. Maybe I received the wrong variant. Maybe the radio is defective. Either way, customers shouldn’t have to conduct a forensic investigation to discover whether a prominently advertised feature exists. The meter may be usable as a basic standalone device. As a connected device, mine is going back.

As a respiratory therapist, I've used a number of peak flow meters- this one is amazing and great for home use. Small, easy to use and no moving parts. It's easily cleaned and stored, with an easy to read screen. Perfect for travel and carrying to work or school.

i have bought this device for my son he has asthma,It is showing always wrong results and i have tried so many times to connect to my phone but cannot find my phone.... i dont know i think its a waste of money and time i will try to return this device
