What are the little containers that are colored? Are they acrylic powder as well?

The purple is the liquid you use with the powders. The 3 small containers have your acrylic powders in them one is pink one is white and one is clear

The instructions on here say use base coat and then cure it but the set doesn’t include a base coat. What kind of base coat is supposed to be used?

It just so happens I already had a base coat before I purchased this kit. You can choose any base coat you want. I used Beetles brand base coat. The nails still turned out bad for me after 2 days though but that’s just me hope you have better luck.
