Very easy to set up and the mic channel is a LOT louder then the rest which I like a lot albeit the static is a lot more as well. Tinkering with the settings helped immensely. I plugged a USB into it to see how music itself sounds and it's LOUD! Fine by me! The louder the better I always say. For the price of this one New being less than a 3 year old "Mackie" Thump15 I just had to. For the price in my book you can't do better. Just a note.... if you buy it on "Amazon" get used to contacting "Monoprice" directly from the web site if you have questions. They said they are "working" on the web site issues!
