The media could not be loaded. ***(less than 1 year review / update) Ok, I guess I can complain. I live in a pretty dry climate so humidity and rust isn't much of a concern. Still have rust but not like the coastal climates. Anyway, I tried to unlock the mount and install a gas can. It wouldn't unlock. AFter ample amounts of oil I was able to remove the handle. Thankfully I wasn't in the middle of nowhere and needed to gas up! Got the lock out and noticed one of the locking tabs was pretty heavy with rust and won't move. the other one moves and thankfully it came out. Tried to wire brush most of the rust off and soaked it in oil but to no avail. The one side of the locking tabs wont budge and the key only turns 90 degrees. It should turn 270 degrees to the "Full Unlock" position and line up the red lines on the lock but it will only turn 90 degrees. I hope the manufacturer or supplier will reach out and make things right. Should last more than a year.In its current state I can not trust this lock and have it leave me stranded in the middle of the mountains. Yes I could siphon but what happens if someone needs gas and I need to remove my gas can from my vehicle and can't? I have contacted the seller and will update my review depending on outcome of my situation.I will always support "Made in the USA" but when the companies import their product, prices are astronomical, and they can't keep them in stock, then I have to shop around. These work just as good as the name brand and closer in price to what I think they are worth. They fit, cost less, and work as advertised! Can't complain at all.

Product worked great and then the lock core broke. Called customer service, they let me know I could safely drill out the core, and I had a new one free of charge in 3 days!! New core is totally different design. Slipped right on and I was ripping. Even though it broke on trail I was still able to function the whole mechanism, minus the locking portion. Just got back and drilled it out and new one was there in no time. I don’t think I’ll ever have another issue.

These work fine but in less than a year, they faded from black to an off bronze color.

Used for over a year and they worked very well. The black fades almost orangish after a while but it does not affect the functionality in the slightest. Would recommend if you get multiple that you take a piece of vinyl and put it in the square of the keys so that you know which rotopax each key goes to. A great budget alternative to the name brand.

It mounted perfectly and held the gas can securely until the locking mechanism rusted and broke after only 5 months.Not worth the money.

Took awhile to figure out how to install it and lock it. Other reviewers have complained that you can't lock the gas container with it, or that it doesn't allow the gas container to sit on it properly, but it does. I paired it with a ROTOPAX Red 1.75 Gallon Gasoline Pack. Was able to bolt it to the inside wall of by truck bed. Seems strong and sturdy. It was kind of a pain to tighten the bolts in the cavity between the bedliner and the outside chassis, but it was possible. I think this is a good value.
