This is a fabulous brush for 3c and 4c hair. Brush hair while conditioner is still on your hair and every kink and knot comes out. Rinse, wrap head in towel to absorb excess water and braid. Never had a better brush.

Best brush I have ever had!

As others have said, make sure that you only use this on wet hair that has slippery conditioner on it, starting at the ends, and it will glide through even thicker hair. The thick Tracee Ellis or PM Awapuhi conditioner make the tangles come right out when used with this brush. It gets all the way to the scalp, and distributes the conditioner well. I’ve had it for months and it’s holding up nicely kept in the shower. As others have said, the hole is useless on its own-but you can put a metal ring or leather cord through it to hang off your shower organizer. It’s a nice size-not too big but doesn’t slip out of my hand. I bought it on Black Friday so it was a good value on sale. It’s easy to clean the hair out also.

I'm black and Asian, and when I let my hair dry naturally I end up with a tangled, frizzy half-fro. Think Dora the explorer, but with more texture. I put this brush in a small travel bag so that whenever I'm out of town (which is often) I can still spray my hair with water and brush it back into a twisty bun. I use a wide comb first, then this, then satin scrunchies and bonnet. The brush detangles my hair easily and makes it look smooth and shiny, with uniform, sculpted waves. This brush is compact while still being easy to grip while dragging through stubborn coils. It's easy to clean - I just give my hair a few brushes every other time I shampoo - not to mention it feels great on my scalp. I love it. At this point I cannot travel without it. I mean, I can, but not without rocking the Dora.

I got the smaller one so it would be easier for travel. My hair is thick, coarse, type C curly. Rare to feel like a brush reaches my scalp let alone can style. Expensive but I like it. Tempted to get the larger size.

When I first got the brush it felt wonderful to finally have something that can truly detangle my 4a hair. I works very smoothly but the only downside is longevity of this product. I started to notice that the pieces of the bristles are flaking off, which has me questioning whether it the quality of the brush itself, the products I use, or the grain of my hair (which is fine to medium with a medium density and thickness). Since the pieces of the bristles are coming off and most likely staying in my hair I cannot see myself having to repurchase this product twice in one year. I purchased this detangling brush this summer most likely in June or July and it seems as though I’ll have to get a completely different brush for another brand even though I loved this brush.

I use his daily for my curly hair after I come out the shower. Goes through my curly hair without pulling has a sturdy grip. I actually prefer the mini to the full size. Well prices and love that it is latex free material.

Tienen muy buen peso y el material ayuda para que no se resbale a la hora de desenredar en la ducha. Ayuda mucho a definir por su mango redondo. Me gusta mas que el Denman porque no se me enreda.
