Icy coloing without alternating the flavor
Concentrated coloring without flavor to darken up gray stews. Also gives a rich color to pumpernickel rye bread.

Product: Good. Amazon packaging: Awful
Unsurprisingly, Amazon used insufficient packaging materials and the cap was broken. I suspect it's cheaper for them to blindly replace items for the very few people who file a return than to spend the time and materials to package things correctly. Mine, however, didn't leak, so I guess I'm bolstering their statistics by not filing for a replacement. Thanks, Amazon, for lowering my standards a bit more. Oh, and the product seems to works as advertised, so that's good.

Great for soda
I drink a stevia cola soda that's clear. It tastes good but I need my 'cola' to look like cola. I use 1/3 of a teaspoon of Durkee Food Color for a 12oz can and it looks exactly like coke (or pepsi). I'm very pleased. At this rate the 32 oz bottle will probably last years. I went to Durkee's website for the nutritional information. It's kosher too.

Aiming to eat a low sodium diet...
I stopped using as much soy sauce in my fried rice. I add more spices to keep the flavors nice, but it just lacks that color that the soy sauce normally brings. Food coloring may not be exactly the most natural thing, but it makes my fried rice and occasional soups look hyper real without causing hypertension. This stuff is extra potent. It's not that I work in the food business or anything, but if I'm bringing a dish to a potluck, I need people to know what it is without me having to tell them each time someone goes for a serving. Also, I was initially a bit worried about shipping, but the packaging was really good. I can tell they worked really hard to keep it intact.

Don’t risk it.
The mailman said it was damaged beyond recognition and didn’t deliver the caramel coloring. I have used it in the past and it’s a good product but will never order it again from Amazon.
