TECHNIALLY, They Were Meant To Be!!!
I absolutely adored this book! Technical was such a sweet love story. Stevie and Drayveon fell for each other so quickly in the beginning, I just knew there was going to be tons of drama throughout this book. I kept waiting on Rae and her husband to come with the ish but, Drayveon nipped that in the bud real quick. There was no need to worry because, there was no drama to be had. Stevie and Drayveon were just two tortured souls who gravitated to one another and helped each other heal. The way they met was surprising but, super cute. I loved their chemistry and their instant attraction was believable from the moment Drayveon opened his door and saw Stevie standing on his front porch. It really was love at first sight for these two. While there was no drama of the relationship kind, there was plenty of family drama. Drayveon's family was such a disappointment. They were a hot ungrateful mess. Well, everyone except Cap. To say I was shocked at OG's behavior is an understatement. Really Granny?!!! I don't even know what to say about Stevie's daddy. That man was a sexist piece of trash and I wanted to fight him. I love that the synopsis doesn't go into a lot of detail on what the book is about so, everything that unfolds is pretty much a surprise. Technical was a phenomenal read. The storyline was engaging and the characters were loveable. If there were ever a couple you'll root for, Stevie and Drayveon are that couple. Get into this book people. I promise you, it's worth every single minute of your time.

Love Builds and Lasts
Rating: 5/5A love story in its purest form. No games and no pretension. A story that tells of a love that develops slowly and unexpectedly between two.Drayveon Walker, a talented basketball player on the St. Louis Cyclones, who has it all and wants for nothing, meets Stevie October, by chance one night. Unpredictable circumstances, brings Stevie smack dab in the middle of Drayveon’s life and Drayveon seems to be fine with it. Since the moment he laid eyes on Stevie, he found her compelling and irresistible. Drayveon’s kindness and attention matches Stevie’s gratefulness and adoration.A connection and friendship created by need. A love building through experiences and circumstances. But all will not be easy for the two. Family and friends all have a say in this budding relationship and it’s not all good.Ms. House has done it again. Great complex characters. Family issues and instigating conflict permeates throughout the book as Drayveon and Stevie navigate their new friendship and situation.Ms. House addresses poverty and financial struggles, heartache and pain, unwanted and unsolicited family interference, manipulation and abuse. Her writing style is straight forward and descriptive allowing us to visualize the moments with clarity. Characters that provoke a myriad of emotions, from compassion and sympathy to frustration and anger. She wittingly tells of a love that slowly builds, creating a sound foundation of friendship and a lasting love between two people. I loved this book.Another great story Ms. House.

Mighty Love
I enjoyed the story. I felt sorry for Dray and how he was treated by his family. How sad it must be to know that folk only see you as a dollar sign. Deep down inside he knew what they were about. He got clarity once he me Stevie. Her love for him showed what it meant to have someone truly holding you down.Stevie had a dead beat baby father. I am still trying figure out his reason for stepping forward. I guess I will have to give him benefit of the doubt that he wanted to apologize and let it be known he would be open to support them if ever the need arose.Stevie had a not so good relationship with her dad and it was plain to see there really was no love lost for her stepmother. Seems as if her dad wasn't all in love with her either.I think how they met was definitely different. Don't want to spoil it, just know it was different. I think they found in each other what was missing in their lives and both were ready to receive it (love). Dray was into older women or so he thought. Come to find out his grandmother encouraged relationships with older women for her own selfish reasons. The best thing Dray did was firing all of his family who worked for him. Dray's brother proved to be true to him. Dray looked out for his brother.I would recommend this book to others. I enjoyed it.
