This is not natural and in my opinion is marine biodiesel. When fish oil is reacted with ethanol in a process called transesterification, ethyl esters are produced. When these synthetic chemicals are distilled, the low molecular weight more volatile ethyl esters come off first and usually are discarded or are used as marine biodiesel. In addition, the ethyl esters of palmitic acid and palmitoleic acid have been shown to damage the pancreas and other vital organs.Do a search of the term fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE) and read for yourself. This is what the FDA concluded about the New Dietary Ingredient application (NDI 819) the ethyl esters in this product:“For the reasons discussed above, the information in your submission does not provide anadequate basis to conclude that the dietary supplement containing "Provinal™", when usedunder the conditions recommended or suggested in the labeling of your product, willreasonably be expected to be safe. Introduction of such a productinto interstate commerce is prohibited under 21 U.S.C. 331 (a) and (v).” Also, the FDA has not made its own GRAS determination for Provinal which is a mixture of fatty acid ethyl esters and contains undetected palmitoleic acid. It contains the organ damaging compound ethyl ester of palmitoleic acid. Also, the heart shaped dietary supplement is a choking hazard.Therefore, this product is adulterated and contains a new dietary ingredient that has not been in the food supply. The company should cease and desist from selling this adulterated and misbranded dietary supplement. My lot does not contain palmitoleic acid as the label claims and in fact contains 0 mg.Amazon asked me to express my right to free speech to evaluate my experience with this product. I have science-based evidence to substantiate my opinion that contradicts Great HealthWorks commercial free speech that is not protected when the information in their marketing is false. I didn't feel the desired effect. It may be that other people have felt it but I don't recommend it. Furthermore, the quantity of capsules is few and the price is not satisfactory.
