Why does this have the California proposition 65 warning on the package ?

That's a great question. California Prop 65 is a law that only pertains to products shipping to California so any other state can disregard it. We have to add the disclaimer warning on the label of everything we sell because it is possible someone in another state could send one of our products to California and then if the disclaimer is not on the label we could be sued. Recently predatory law firms have been hunting down any company that sells products in California that does not have the warning. Unfortunately, the way the law in California is written you are guilty until proven innocent as a company selling products. That means that a law firm could come after us just because something we sell does not have that warning and we have to pay to prove our product is safe and does not need the warning. So these law firms can literally send a lawsuit for every product a company sells if it does not have the warning. Then even if the product is safe the company has to either go to court to prove the warning is not needed or the company has to settle with the law firm. Currently, the average settlement is around $80,000 and going to court to prove you are innocent costs well over $100,000. Those amounts are for each product that does not have this warning. So these law firms are forcing companies to put these warnings on all kinds of products that may not need them or face huge financial losses.

High quality milk

I purchased this dried buttermilk to sprinkle on popcorn alongside nutritional yeast and bragg's aminos. Thought it would be perfect as buttermilk has that wonderful zestiness. I was wrong. There was no zestiness.In lieu of sprinkling it on my popcorn, I ended up using it in my coffee as a creamer. It was lovely, sweet and creamy, a perfect coffee creamer.
