Works great
I had to measure and cut to fit my door. Works perfectly!

Does not fit standard shower door slot
The short bar of the T profile has a thick rounded shape that makes it impossible to fit into the slot on the bottom of the shower door. Useless!

Incorrect dimensions stated in product specifications
Technical information stated that height is just over 1" but it's only 3/4 inch high. Now I have a 1/4 gap after installation.

Installation not easy
Not what I needed for my shower door

Notch on top is too small to hold in a track
Unfortunately, the little ridge at the top of this seal is so small, it fell out of the track with very little effort. I ended up putting 2 strips together and now it stays in the bottom shower door seal track but itโs not a great fit.

Too thick
I measured, but the product was maybe 1mm too thick. I will be returning.

Also perfect as a Storm Door bottom sweep
I needed to replace the bottom sweeps on 2 of my exterior storm doors and was having a hard time finding anything that I liked the looks of in the storm door sweep replacement options. Mine are Andersen Emco storm doors, with the removeable sweep holder. The original sweep is only about 3/4" high and has a very tiny "Y" shaped top edge and the sweep material is very thin. This Treela "Simple Style" version bathroom seal is made of very flexible silicone, and has a slightly larger "T'ish" profile at the top, with a bit of a round top, and is about double the thickness in the main sweep body of my original one. The first of my photos shows the original sweep and sweep holder, showing the "Y" shaped groove it fits in. The next photos show how I inserted the Treela sweep. Because the Treela sweep is thicker it made sliding it into the groove very difficult, but it is possible. It is definitely not falling out on its own now that it's in. To get it into the holder I removed the holder from the door (only 2 screws) and then mounted the holder in my bench vice, using soft-jaws so as not to cause any damage or marks on the holder. I then used a tiny file, ( you could also use sandpaper) on one end of the "Y" groove opening to smooth the opening a bit and remove the "sharpness", to prevent cutting the new sweep as I pulled it into the groove. I then lubricated both the groove along its entire length, and the new Treela sweep, using Tire Slick Bead Lube, but any slippery lubricant will work. I then fed one end of the Treela sweep into the smoothed end of the sweep holder "Y" groove and started pulling it with a pair of pliers for grip. the first few inches went easily but then as more of the body was sticking in the small groove it became much harder. The Treela sweep also started lifting out of the groove at the feeding end as I was pulling, so I needed a second set of hands. I enlisted my wife to feed the new sweep straight into the groove to keep it from climbing out, as I continued to pull at the far end with a pair of pliers, and midway with a second set of pliers. This combination allowed me pull the Treela sweep into the full length of the sweep holder groove. I found due to the pulling tension the sweep had stretched a bit in the groove, so I pulled it in numerous places along its length toward the far end to relieve any stretch, left about a half inch extra at the far end, and cut off the feed end about the same, a half inch extra to allow for some adjustment if our cold winter temps cause any contraction once in place. It's easy to trim it flush in a few months when I'm sure it has stabilized in place. This Treela sweep is a little taller than the original, almost an inch tall, which works better than the shorter original, and has plenty of flex to allow opening and closing over the door threshold. The extra thickness should help the Treela last a bit longer as the flexing should take longer to damage this replacement compared to the thinner original. The silicone material "should" be resistant to the elements, especially heat and cold, so should be suitable for the exterior use it will see? So the experiment of using this shower door sweep in an exterior door seems to have been a success. If you're looking to replace your storm door sweeps and looking for an option, these appear to work, with a little effort depending on the type of groove in your sweep holder. If I find any problems after some use I'll report back here, but for now I would highly recommend both this item and the seller, even for this non-standard use of this product.
