Star Water Systems 022603 0.6 HP Booster Pump

Not a bad pump for the price. Easy to hook up. Motor a little noisy but tolerable. I don't know if the application I was using it for was too high of a pressure or the pump itself had issues. Had it hooked up and under 60 lbs of pressure and found that 1 of the small ports (used for gauge or pressure switch) leaked even though it had an o-ring sealing it. Also under 60 lb of pressure there was a small leak coming from the motor shaft interface to the pump housing. If I kept the pump at 50 lbs of pressure or less, there was no leak. Unfortunately my application required at least 60 lbs or more. The pump may be good but not for my needs.

Generic chinese pump. Its been working ok for a couple weeks so far. Threads dont seem to be standard for plumbing fittings.. Had to force it in or maybe just mine didnt come alright.No paperworkNo instructions
