Best one I have purchased, life saver best thing I did
So I suffered a hernia a few weeks before holiday, waiting for an operation, it was making life very uncomfortable in general, at home, work, I was seriously worried about flying, coughing, sneezing and being active on holiday. Consultant recommended this truss, I actually purchased 3 different types - this was by far the best for design, fit, comfort and effectiveness of keeping the hernia in - so I returned the other 2 and got another one of these. Best thing I ever did it has taken all the stress out, no issues driving, flying, swimming, walking, it’s discreet and comfortable and easy to clean as well. If you go through customs just remove the memory foam pad and pop it in the tray and put it back in after, first time round I left mine in, came up on the scanner and had to do a private search lol no issues but learnt and not a problem removing it and fitting it back the the second time. Ref swimming - buy 2 so u have a dry one, but also remove the poo ad and squeeze it out as it holds a lot of water, drip drys pretty quick

Rubbish hook and loop fastening
This truss worked for the couple of weeks whilst my hernia was small, but didn't stop it developing. Actually the design is pretty poor, it may be better for a hernia just below the belt line, but for an inguinal hernia further down it barely presses on the hernia. This is partly due to the shape of the pad being symmetrical (the area between your thigh and groin is not symmetrical), and the strap that goes from front to back is about 10cm too long so doesn't hold the pad in place. I wrapped this strap around the belt at the rear to shorten it. Another serious problem was that the end of the belt with the hook fastener system curled around at the edges after about a week reducing the contact area with the loops to a few square centimetres. I used some elastic bands to hold the hook and loop parts together for a couple of weeks and then took it to a sewing/mending shop and had the belt machine stitched to my size. Overall this was a very disappointing purchase.

Can’t get it fast enough……
If you’ve had unreduced hernia pain you will know it can bring tears to your eyes. After three trips to A&E the five hour wait on a trolley for the consultant was worth it when he ‘reduced’ (pushed back in) the hernia in 20 seconds flat, also with me FLAT if you’re doing it yourself. He then advised a truss until the hernia could be repaired by investigation in clinic and possible surgery. Unfortunately he just advised ‘a’ truss to the staff, not exactly which type. The truss the staff came back with was a ‘jock strap’ for a scrotal truss. Mine is inguinal and the truss was useless. Rather than have my wife drive me the 30 miles to A&E for the fourth time in as many days, I did a bit of research and came up with this one partly because of the ‘prime’ SAME DAY promised delivery. It didn’t turn up and the ‘no reply’ email address seemed to understand my curt response as it was on the doorstep this morning. Thank you Amazon system for having more sense than your creators. Perhaps AI is more common than we think. All health products should have priority delivery. Without health we cannot work. Without the wealth from work we cannot pay our taxes. Without taxes the economy goes to pot and everyone, Government included, uses stealth to avoid or gather the taxes. Health, Wealth, Stealth. A very simple but effective product that has allowed me to walk out for the first time in three weeks. Many thanks. Durability will now be part of the criteria. I’ll let you know…. One note ….the ‘instructions’ don’t match the product. If you want to change from right to left the ‘front panel’ does NOT come off; you need to slide the pouch round to the left and tighten the belt Velcro fastener somewhere over your tummy. If you are male, I would advise wearing boxer shorts with loose fitting legs so that you do not have to unfasten the belt to ‘spend a penny’. Nuff said?……

Immediate relief from symptoms
Very impressed so far. Easy to put on and has given me immediate relief from unpleasant symptoms. Will see how long it lasts though.

Comfortable to wear and discreet
I've been using this support for nine months whilst waiting for a repair op. It is very comfortable to wear and I can wear it with slim fit jeans and other trousers without it being noticeable. I read some reviews that the understrap velcro was a bit narrow and stopped working so well after a while, but I found that once in the right place leave it alone and just fasten at the waistband. I agree with another review that it is better to lay down when fastening so your hernia is recessed when you fasten it. Since using this support it is so much more comfortable to be active in everyday life. I wasn't sure how it would work over a day on my feet but I have been on city breaks, long country walks, practised yoga and even low impact hiit workouts without any discomfort. I have bought a second one as the elastic in the waist band does eventually stretch to a point where it doesn't tighten enough, but the first has lasted at least nine months and I would certainly recommend.
