The PPC a BELDEN Brand SNLP-1GCW MoCA Point of Entry filter delivers 70dB of signal isolation, effectively terminating the MoCA band (860-1525MHz) to prevent interference and micro reflections. Designed for cable TV and OTA coaxial networks, it installs easily without configuration, securing your home network and stabilizing internet speeds by blocking external MoCA signals at the entry point.

Fixed weird speed drops, no complaints since
Installed this between the modem and the wall coax and the intermittent drops on my connection stopped. It feels solid, not some flimsy plastic housing that cracks if you look at it wrong, and it screws straight onto the line with no configuration needed and no software to open. Signal between boxes stayed clean afterward too, no loss on the TV side, and my internet speeds didn't change once it was in the line, which is exactly what you want from something sitting inline like this. It also seems to keep other devices from tying into the network the way they could before it went in, right around the point where the cable comes into the house. Small, cheap part, and it solved a problem bigger fixes hadn't. It's reflective by design, so whatever it's blocking stays contained on my side of the line instead of just disappearing.

IMMEDIATELY fixed my problem
I live in an apartment complex and was having an issue with my Xfinity wifi where every device I used was getting a message that the device was "Paused" and I needed to unpause the device in the Xfinity app to use it- Even though no devices were showing as "Paused" in my app. I literally couldn't do anything on the wifi I am paying for because of this error. I plugged this in between my modem and the wall coaxial cable, and the problem IMMEDIATELY went away. Don't spend all day on the phone with Xfinity and their useless support representatives who try to upsell you on phone plans instead of trying to fix the problem you're calling about- Buy one of these instead!!

Neighbors on your network?
Let me start by saying I am not savvy enough to physically test this device to see if it’s doing exactly what it says. But I can tell you that for the past few weeks I’ve been getting notifications from my ISP (X-finity) that they’ve blocked hackers from getting into my PC. It’s locked down with a good firewall and antivirus/anti-malware suite (Nor-ton), and I believe I’m doing everything possible to prevent intruders. My next-door neighbor is a coder and apparent computer scientist, and it wouldn’t be difficult for him to MoCa his way onto my network, so I figured I’d get one of these filters. As I said, I have no way to physically test the efficacy of this device. However, I can tell you that my daily notifications of hacker attempts have completely ceased since I installed this filter in my attic where the main cable comes into my splitter. I tested my TV and DVR function (also with X-finity) before and after installing the device and found no issues afterward. Same with my PC. There was no change in upload or download speed when tested with the popular Oo-kla Speed-test. So this seems to work, and without any bad side effects. I hope this helps.

Neighbor MoCA devices blocked. NO LAG
I was experiencing some strange lag issues with apps so looked at my router. I live in an apartment and saw several devices that are not mine connected via MoCA. (Over the coax cable.) Researching MoCA let me know I needed this filter. It took several minutes and a few restarts of my xfinity router app but I was finally able to forget (remove) the devices that aren't mine when they eventually disconnected. So far I have no lag on the apps that were giving me trouble so it appears to be working. I knocked off a star because there was no documentation. I screwed the filter onto the wall plug and the cable from my router to the other end. I read this in another customer review. Not sure what would happen if it were connected in reverse.

No more neighbor mooching off my WiFi!
5 star! Solved my neighbor mooching off my WiFi! I live in an apartment complex and found that one of my neighbors is connected to my xfinity WiFi. After changing the password didn’t work I did my research and found they were linking into my internet wire and utilizing the “bounce back signal”. I installed this filter to ensure there was no signal leakage back into the wire. And their iPhone 16 immediately was removed. This is the way!
