I keep it charged on my bathroom counter, stored vertically in a stainless pencil holder. Works perfectly. It is always “at the ready “ and it takes only minutes to turn it on.I brought it on a cruise, and it was the PERFECT hair accessory. My bangs curl up when it’s hot, so it’s just what I needed, since all hotels and cruise ships always have hair dryers. I just needed that extra straightening.The heatproof travel case is another plus.Everything about it is so useful, and I already had a flatiron AND travel flatiron.If you are looking for convenience and effectiveness, this cordless is a PERFECT hair accessory, wherever you are.And, NO, I did NOT get paid for this review.

However, once you turn it on, the problems begin: it doesn’t heat up enough, the battery only lasts exactly 20 minutes when fully charged, it leaves the hair very frizzy and doesn’t even style it properly, even if you go over the same strand 10 times. If you want to curl your hair, it’s even worse because it doesn’t curl at all. I don’t know if my straightener came defective, but if not, this product is definitely not worth the price.

I bought this for my wife to straighten her hair while we are traveling. She likes it so much I see her using it at home too. She’s happy with it so that makes me happy.

I was really concerned that the battery charge wouldn’t last long enough to do my hair but it does. I bought this for an international trip so I wanted something lighter weight and the usb charger made it a no brainer. I have medium length hair and this worked faster and better than my plug in straightener at home. It’s expensive but for me it is worth it.

Everything I've ever owned from brand has been amazing. This was my first disappointment. The charge on this device only lasts less than ten min., it heats up quickly but must use all the juice to get there. I have fairly thick but straight hair and I can't get through my entire head before it loses power. Expected more for the price.

No need to worry about ruining your flat iron or traveling with adaptors. This plugs into usb for charging and is hot and lasts through one flat iron use for medium to long hair. GREAT when traveling to Europe!!!

DO NOT BUY! It is illegal to take this through security at foreign airports. I just had it taken away from security in Japan because it contains a battery. I put it in my carry on as when I checked my bag, they said the iron could not be checked because of the battery. Sooooo…it can’t be checked or carried on?! What is the point of this thing???What a waste of $300! It’s awful that this is advertised and sold for travel but can’t be taken in any way shape or form on an airplane. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

Purchased because I religiously use ghd straighteners and I'm very pleased with the cord versions. This cordless battery stays charged for less than five minutes. It's performance for those 5 minutes is good, but the battery life isn't enough to make much of a difference on touch-ups.
