It seems to protect against a sunburn but you may look like Casper the Friendly Ghost while wearing it.(maybe a little bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea) Picture a lifeguard with white zinc-oxide on there nose and your pretty close although this product is a bit more see through than that.I'm not a chemist but I would label this product more of a sunblock than a sunscreen by the way it goes on and the way it looks. I haven't been able to see how well it does when a person gets wet but I would assume pretty good. The biggest question would be...would I buy it again? Probably not due to the cost of it. For 4oz it cost me over $22. I like the idea of not having chemicals leach into my skin but for the cost I will just wear a bigger hat and long sleeves.

This product does what it suppose to do. However, they melt so bad so we had to keep in the cooler at the beach. If you are ordering it in the early Summer or Summer, please put it in the refrigerator for couple of hours before you even open the container, otherwise you will get a big surprise. The sunscreen itself is very thick, almost impossible to wash off, and dries up the skin very badly. When I ordered one container for baby, they sent the one for adult. I contacted them and they told me that the ingredients in the adult ones and the baby ones are exactly the same, they just use different labels. Really??? Also the delivery time is super slow, unless you live in the NC area. I probably won't buy it again.

This might be excellent for babies for it's coverage. I found it too white. I used it on my face and neck. Then my neck broke out in a rash so I had to stop. It doesn't smell bad and spreads fine.
