excellent product and excellent value for money
Having read some of the reviews I can add praise for this product, very easy to set up and the wifi range is much better than my old router, the parental controls and access controls are also very good, after the firmware update the app would not reconnect so I had to power down and power on the router, but once I did this it worked fine, also like that you can add MERCUSYS cameras (not their TP Link TAPO cameras) to the system which at £14 is an excellent price

Rock‑Solid Wi‑Fi and Superb Value for Money
Honestly impressed with this router. It’s been miles better than my XR1000 — stronger connection, no random lag spikes, and not a single drop since setting it up. Setup was quick and the Wi‑Fi has been solid across the whole house. For the price, it’s been a massive upgrade.

A cheap and simple solution to a Virgin-Hub problem.
I recently changed to Virgin Active for a variety of reasons. Happy with the speed, but their "Hub5" did not afford coverage in our house and their was too much Jitter causing some packet loss. This is something that the BT Router had well under control - now with Virgin so I had best sort it... PROS: Coverage/Range - the complete house, a 2 up and one down with garden and garage, is fully covered by the WiFi now. No patches of no coverage - even deep in the loft you will get a good signal from the Router. Ease of use - Whilst I did not need any instructions, I connected the router and the Virgin Hub did what it needed, act as a modem. Connect to the modem, plug the router in and switch on. 3 minutes later full connectivity. CONS: Build Quality - it feels cheap and tacky but not flimsy. I did not buy it to look at it because it is ugly and looks like a transformer flattened by a Lorry. Instructions - if you are a technophobe then the instructions that come with this device will give you a migraine. All in all the device loses 1 star for abysmal documentation - otherwise it is a cheap and effective router for the ever-lasting Virgin Hub issues.

Easy set upand decent signal.
Easy set up. I used this as a replacement for my BT home hub as it was wifi. I have a full fibre 1g connection. Wifi speeds.vis BT hub were around 520mbps, they are now at 930-950mbps with 100mbps upload. I dont have a large house, I get a good signal in every room which is vital for me as I work from home. There is even some signal at the edge of our garden. Very pleased with this item.

You get what you pay for
We bought this since our home is undergoing a complete renovation, which means dirt, dust, paint, and whatnot covering anything and everything, so we might as well go with a cheap router until the place is clean enough to set up a proper one. It often struggles to give us the full 0.9Gbps PPPoE WAN throughput (we normally get around 500-700Mbps), even when connected by LAN, though sometimes it does. I'm quite sure it's not our internet connection, as I've already tested connecting directly to the ONT and achieving full speeds. Stability is also an issue with wireless devices regularly disconnecting/reconnecting or just plain intermittently ceasing to transmit or receive data for a few seconds, resulting in packet loss, dropping of WhatsApp calls, etc. Coverage is not bad for a medium-sized house. It's just a case of getting what you pay for. Not sure if I'm being generous with 3/5, because I originally wanted to give it 2/5 but then it's dirt cheap so...

Great value Wi-Fi 6 router – perfect as a dedicated router for VR
After some research and checking with Grok, I decided not to spend over £100 on a Wi-Fi 6E router and went for this instead — and I’m glad I did. If you don’t have loads of Wi-Fi networks around you, this is easily the best bang for the buck. I’m using it as a dedicated router for my Meta Quest 3S, with my Google WiFi handling the main network. For Virtual Desktop, it works really well. The connection is stable and responsive. I do get the occasional FPS drop in Half-Life: Alyx when running everything on the highest settings in Virtual Desktop, but switching to medium quality makes it run smoothly with no issues — which is totally fine for me. Overall, great performance for the price, easy to set up, and perfect if you want a reliable, affordable router for VR streaming without going all-in on Wi-Fi 6E.

This is a trash router
You need to download the firmware from the official website and update it manually. I was experiencing spikes and/or packet loss exactly every 10 minutes; the problem improved after enabling Access Point Mode (no internet connection without the old router), and after updating the firmware from 1.2.0 to 1.3.3 revision V2, the problem disappeared completely and the router is now working perfectly. For some reason, this router cannot update automatically; it simply does not detect the update. P.S. The firmware update didn’t help. The router is working terribly. I removed the provider’s router from the chain, but that didn’t help. The Vodafone Gigabox router actually performed far better than this one, even though it only delivered half the advertised Wi-Fi speed

szybka prędkość
DOBRZE!
