Are they lint free?** A: Ber, Kimwipes are Anti-static polyshield wipes with LintGuard. It Cleans lens very nicely with no lint I imagine it would be the same for the photo scanner. **Q: I've used these on microscopes in lab. Will they work for my dslr lenses?** A: Most likely. We use them to clean our 10" and 17 1/2" Dobsonian telescope lenses. They do a great job. No lint, no streaks! **Q: Would these be good to wipe my fingers before inserting my contact lense?** A: It might be a good idea if you washed your hands, then insert your contact lens.
