This is a lovely clock! It is well-constructed with a charming design of a cottage and animals around it. The cuckoo sound is pleasing to hear and it is fun to see the bird come out to sing. It does not sing at night. It is a quality purchase and made in Germany. It runs on C batteries that are easy to change, and the batteries last for months. I am extremely pleased with this clock and highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful! The craftsmanship and intricate detail are stunning. It is real wood and quite heavy. On the hour the cuckoo does his thing with the sound of water falling in the background.

This is a beautiful clock - my kids love it, especially the two year old - we run to the clock to see the coo coo every hour. Adults love it... because at night we can turn the coo coo off :)
