HIGHTEC SYNTH RS SAE 0W-40 is a high-performance engine oil with an optimal viscosity grade produced using fully synthetic poly-alpha-olefins (PAO). Its high level of performance is achieved through the interaction of these fully synthetic base oils with their naturally high viscosity index (VI) and the advanced additives. HIGHTEC SYNTH RS SAE 0W-40 exhibits an excellent cold-start behaviour and fast lubrication at the lowest temperatures. At the same time, it provides a stable lubricating film for safe wear protection, even with hot oil and under excessive loads. Aber wem sage ich das: wer das hier liest, hat sich eh schon mit dem Thema Öl beschäftigt. Alle anderen kaufen entweder Baumarktplörre oder die bekannten Marken wie Castriert, Möbil, Schelle etc. Für >10 Jahre alte Motoren ist das auch OK, aber moderne Turbobenziner sind so empfindlich, dass die Öl-Wahl den Unterschied machen kann. Seit ich meinen TFSI mit diesem Öl füttere (kein Longlife mehr, alle 15.000 km Ölwechsel) läuft der Motor besser und runder ... und der Spritverbrauch ist um rund 0,5l/100km zurückgegangen. Update 2020 nach einem weiteren Jahr mit diesem Öl: mein Ölverbrauch ist bei meinem 1.8l TFSI Motor (170 PS, CJEB) genau 0 (Null), der Motor läuft leiser und runder als je zuvor. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich 10 Sterne geben. Update 2021: immer noch alles perfekt! Mein dringender Rat: macht bloß keine Longlife Services. Nach 12 Monaten oder 15.000 km wechselt bitte das Öl. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Offenbar gutes Öl - BMW N54

Dieses Öl nutze ich für einen jährlichen Wechsel bei einem Freund in einem 3.0l N54 Bi-Turbo von BMW, welcher ca. 200PS mehr als Serie leisten muss, sprich statt ~300PS, nun ~500PS. Der oil-club hat weiterhin für diese Viskositätsklasse anhand einiger Analysen, eine Empfehlung ausgesprochen. Das Fahrzeug läuft so seit 4 Jahren mit einer Jahresfahrleistung von ca. 15tkm vollkommen problemlos - Winter wie Sommer. Die Motorinnereien (bei einem Wechsel der Ventildeckeldichtung), sehen sehr sauber aus. Anhand dessen was ich beurteilen kann, kann ich nur eine Empfehlung aussprechen.
