Substantial Base Holder Is Key
I like the substantial, firm, curved based which provides more comfort and stability when using. Since there were no instructions provded, it was a bit of a challenge to determine how and where to insert the utensil itself and this I didn't like; however, having purchased other, different utensil holders in the past, this is better than those and would recommend.

Love it
My patient loves this! As an occupational therapist I often have patients trial my own adaptive equipment so we can decide which works best for them before they order their own .. my patient with CP absolutely loves this cuff. We did need to find silverware with a more narrow handle to fit in the slot but the cuff is great with the right utensils

Piece of junk. Great idea. Terrible design flaws.
Such a good idea but with a terrible design. The plastic grip is nice but the velco strap is a disaster. It is very long- 10 inches and 90% is fuzzy velcro. The very last inch of the stap is plastic part of the velcro because the strap is so long, it would better fit a giant's hand. My husbands hand is large- he wears a large glove. Even with the velcro in the tightest position this holder is loosd on him. What were they thinking. The utensil sleeve is describled as fitting most silverware. Wrong. None of my normal sized silverware would fit because the sleeve is so narrow. Finally at a flea market I found a spoon with a ridiculously narrow handle that fit in the sleeve. Even then the top of the sleeve started to separate when the threads broke. It would have been so simple to include utensils that fit, but that would add quality that this manufacturer is not interested in. So sad because with a quality design this tool would be a blessing for the handicapped.

Utensil holder
The pocket that the utensil should go in is too narrow except for the smallest utensil such as plasticware. Normal utensils are mostly too wide for the pocket, hence rendering is pretty much useless!
