Into The Cancer Woods

As a breast cancer survivor, I am familiar with most of this journey; the fear, mostly, and the total awareness of having no control over the situation. Similar to the word "holocaust," the word "cancer" prompts within our mind's eyes the images of suffering and death. Terry Wolfe has walked this path and she has faithfully documented her journey and, although very personal, everyone who has this diagnosis can benefit from her honest reflections of God's guidance and presence with her as well as her dependence on Him. This account reveals the ultimate benefit of suffering while walking in faith.

I found the story to be very uplifting. I had worked for Terry and her family for many years and was not surprised at the way sheused her belief in her Lord Jesus to get through her treatment. You cannot read this book and not know that her strong walk with her Lord, did not have a positive outcome.

Terry did a good job putting on paper what she was dealing with each day. The scriptures were definitely God given. God not only strengthened Terry through this time, but each of her prayer partners, also.

Packed with spiritual nourishment Christian style....I like to read it slowly, and live it out in my life with my own problems.

Terry Wolfe's response to her cancer diagnosis and the subsequent journey is full of richness on many levels...words from friends, deep trusted truths from scripture, quotes from others and best of all the perfect encouragement from her Savior. Even though I did not walk the journey with her, I felt like I was there, living it with her. Absolutely inspiring story.
