I literally just put one on this morning due to burning myself with hot oil. You know how burns are, the pain just lasts and lasts. I ran my arm under water and it didn't help. Then I remembered I had these and put it on. After about 5 minutes I realized it didn't hurt any more.Also, I had used one a few weeks ago to help stop with skin picking (Dermatillomania) associated with ADHD. After 50 years I finally stopped biting my nails, but now without realizing I'm doing it, I pick at my skin until I've developed a scab. Which makes me pick some more. I put this on my shoulder where I apparently absentmindedly will pick, to help me stop. It really helped. When I'd go to pick, I'd feel it and realize what I was about to do and stop. In the meantime, it's healing the wounds I caused. I took it off and my skin was soft and free of scabs.Finally, right now I have a teeny piece on my right temple. Dr. found pre-cancerous skin cells and froze them off, of course, causing a scab which drives my ADHD mad. So I just cut a little piece off and stuck it on to help it heal and keep me from scratching it.

These do what you need them to do..just wish they were more adhesive
