Can't get it to work on Android 9
I have gotten this to work on my Macbook Pro using an app called DwayneCam downloaded from the app store. In theory, it should work with any Webcam Software, this is just the first one I tried.What I have not figured out is how to get it working with my android phone. I've tried several different "USB webcam" softwares on the Google Play store, including the "CameraFi" app that the manufacturer reccomends, and none of them so far have worked. I have an Essential PH-1 running Android 9. I think it was my bad luck to update to android 9.0 the day before I received this in the mail, because I think a lot of the camera apps haven't been updated to work with Android 9.0.A few things: nowhere in the item description does it say how long the cable is. I was worried it would be too short, but it is almost too long. At least 15', maybe as long as 25'. I'm just guessing as I haven't bothered to measure.Overall, it's good enough that I'm willing to keep it even though I can't get it working on my smartphone. The fact that it works on my desktop machine means that there is no actual defect in the device itself, so I'm hopeful someone will release some software to support it soon, and in the meantime I can just use it in the USB-C port on my macbook.

TYPE - C adapter Androids ONLY
ONLY compatible with the NEW TYPE-C ANDROIDS, using an adapter for another phone WILL NOT WORK, the USB for a computer works but that-is-it. I switched to an i-phone making this useless for what I wanted it for.So if you want to carry a large lap-top or PC around to see down your drains or car engine GOOD Luck.The images are good as well as the Retrieving tool attachments.

Garbage, 3 uses and camera doesn't work.
Pretty much a piece of garbage. Worked initially then became intermittent and now the camera doesn't work at all. Used 3 times. The stiff cable going to the camera spins in the little control box and I'm sure has ripped the wires loose. The good news is the light still works so I have a long extension light:-(

Dry use, ok. Wet applications, not so much.
Not as flexible as I'd hoped. Works well for scoping vent pipes and in wall cavities. Not a good product for looking in stopped up drains.

... says sopow after 4 uses and it started working like those old Chargers you had to wrap around the ...
Worked well for the first few times then the cables or connection came loose in the control box that says 'sopow' after 4 uses and then it started working like those old chargers you had to wrap around the phone to get them to stay connected.
